When I turn the machine on it keeps beeping and wont do anything

Are you overloading the machine? If you run the machine without anything inside and this happens, check the motor or belt.

There is a problem with the unit - take it back and exchange it.

have you checked the pump filter ?

Key + beeping = child lock has been activated.

To clear this
1. close washing machine door
2. turn dial to usual wash setting
3. press start button and keep pressing for several seconds - the problem should be solved.

It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.

pull out everything in the computer except what's required to boot...so any pci cards or video cards (if you have onboard video). you can also try pulling out the ram (while unpowered AND unplugged) and then booting to hear beeps...if you pull the ram out and the computer doesnt make a sound, its probably a bad motherboard and needs to be replaced. if you hear beeps, try replacing the ram or disconnecting other parts...like harddrives, optical drives, modems and what not.

make sure the bobbin winder is not engaged and thread the machine over ,also check that the buttonhole switch is not down

Try taking off the battery and reinserting it to see if it resets mech,If this doesnt work you wil have to bring to service.Dont go at it yourself as you could cause serious problems,
