hello
first unplug the fridge freezer from the power outlet.
Look for the bulb compartment or socket where the light bulb is located
then remove the bulb and then install a new one .Ensure replacement bulb is of the correct type and wattage
then test the bulb
Unfortunately, the SJ-BB05DTXWF has LED lighting. Those aren't user replaceable. https://www.currys.co.uk/products/sharp-sjbb05dtxwf-6040-fridge-freezer-white-10218761.html provides this specification information.
Only incandescent bulbs are user replaceable in most refrigerators. On the Sharp SJ-B1237M00X model, there is an incandescent bulb behind a cover that will move when you press on the bottom.
Unplug the refrigerator. Remove the lamp cover by lifting up at the bottom of the cover. Then unscrew the old bulb and replace with an identical appliance bulb (Base E12, 240V, MAX 15W, T-20). This bulb is at the top center of the fridge.
I did not fix the problem. I ordered a bulb (lamp) and subsequently saw it is beyond my knowledge to install it. I'll communicate with the store where I bought it 3 months ago and if they won't deal with it, I'll pay a repairman to do it.
