Question about Epson Stylus 1000 InkJet Printer
I have just got my printer back after having the waste ink pads replaced, I did print 1 CD label & then colour bad on next so I replaced with Epson cartridges & printed another 12 or so, next day I changed cartridges to generic as didn't need best ink. Tried to do CD's - the tray kept ejecting with message "not set correctly - reload & press maintenance button" - I then tried to print on paper but the paper fed in & then I got message "paper jam etc. Tried all I could think of, turned off & on numerous times, checked all - next got General Error, told by friend to hold power/maintenance/stop & get LCD screen message -
CLEAR WASTE INK CTR.
Also have removed far left ink pad, washed/dried/replaced
Hope you can help,
Those generic refills are not worth i, plus they may void the warranty. Try removing them and cleaning the little circuit board sensor. Make sure leaked ink hasnt covered them.
