Question about Alpine MRD-M300 Car Audio Amplifier

I hooked up my amp up right but no sound is coming out what should i do

Hello christheline,

First make sure that the amp is powering up properly and that the input and subwoofer(s) are connected.

Check that the amp is not in "safe mode".

1. Press the MODE button.
Press the UP or DOWN button until “9” is displayed.
2. Press the ENT button.
3. Press the UP or DOWN button until “9-1” is displayed.
4. Press the ENT button.
5. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to turn safe mode ON.
6. Press the ENT button.

If this does not work, either the input from the head unit, the subwoofer(s), or the amp itself is probably defective.

When equalizer is on the sound through amp is not equalized. everything is hooked up right,all buttons set right,all lights work but can not change sound coming from amp.
make sure your bypass button isnt turned on.

Hooked up Sony' s PS-LX25OH record player to Harmon Kardon 235 AMP and no sound is coming from the amp. I did have the record player hooked up to a Sony Amo and it worked fine. Now all I hear is the sound...
First check that the amp is working by putting your finger on the imputs at the back. You should get a buzz on each channel. Or disconect the wires to the cartridge, with the turntable connected to the amp and the amp on, touch the loose wires (you won't get a shock). You should hear the buzz on both channels with two of the wires (left & right). If you don't the pre-amp for the cartridge in the amp has failed. Will be a single IC that's gone, found by following the wires back from the deck imputs inside the amp.
If it buzzers then the cartridge has gone.

From the rca jacks I hAVE POWER TO THE AMP BUT NO SOUND COMING OUT OF THE SPEAKERS
try a radio shack mini amp sa-155 for around 30.00.

Technics SL-L3 turntable no sound until warm up
either the cartridge is bad in the phonograph tone arm.  Or the pre-amp in the stereo is bad...remember that the turntable is the only accessory that uses the pre-amp input on the stereo.  I'm betting the pre-amp is bad.

Amp not working
if your light is not coming on then you probably dont have power to it. check all your connections and make sure it is all hooked up right. check the remote with in the back of the deck.

okay u will have to troubleshoo the amp.....dose the amp light up?...when u have the radio on? also check your sub wires.going to the amp....make sure the rca'sare hooked up to the radio rear out puts are the radio sub out puts...and then test your amp gain adjustment...let me know if that work's
