Blazer verses deer. completely lost driver's side headlight assembly and broke the plastic brackets for headlight and driver's side park/turn signal light assembly, cracked the grill and removed about half of it from driver's side to center.
Ouch, the headlight assembly's are pretty reasonably priced , got mine off Amazon for about $50 bucks ea, ebay is a good place to look also for the front grill
Yeh, but who won?? All you need is an eye patch and dental work. Poor deer.
If you have the time and inclination, a trip or two or 3 to a salvage yard could get you all the parts to renew it, and save you a lot of money that a body shop would charge.
SOURCE: cannot remove tail light assembly
I had the HARDEST time with the lights...I never realized changing a bulb would be so difficult. Once you unscrew what you need to, go into the trunk and pull the lining away from the back part of the light. There are the white prongs that you will need to tap with a hammer until they pop out and then the light assembly will come out. Be careful though, I got a little too impatient and broke mine. I used a binding agent to hold it back in place though...GOOD LUCK!
SOURCE: What is the best way
There's an access in the bottom of the air deflector under the bumper. 2 screws in the bottom of the light and one in the back. Unplug the sockets and pull the lens out of the bumper.

Hey there,
You need to remove the two plastic pins in order to pull back the upper front grille. Best bet is to get a flathead screwdirver under those pin heads to pop them up, then rotate the pins around to pull them out. You should be able at this point to pull up the grille, and that should give you the clearance to wiggle out the headlamp. It's tricky, but worth it!

You can replace the parking light/turn signal bulb with LED lights. The LED draw next to nothing in AMPS and produce no heat at all and last for ever. You can pick up the replacement LED lights for your Camaro at most Auto Parts store like Auto Zone or Pep Boys. Good luck and keep me posted for any more questions you may have, I'm running the LED lights on my wife's Montana for that same reason.

SOURCE: How do I remove the plastic from the headlight assembly??
These headlamp housings are sealed and not meant to come apart. There is a headlamp polishing kit that is sold in most auto parts stores that is used with a low speed drill to polish the fog and glaze out of the plastic lens using 3 or 4 steps of fine gritted paper with a polishing compound to finish the job. If the housing has water in it or is very dirty inside there isn't a whole lot you can do to get that out of there short of replacing it. Hope this helps a bit!
