When push to talk.. Screen goes blank. no channel on screen or anything when talking

Most touchscreen phones have a proximity sensor on the front, probably near the top right of the phone. This detects when the phone is near your face and disables the touchscreen to prevent you from accidentally dialing or hanging up while talking. The sensor should look like 1-3 small circular sensors. Wipe them clean, and ensure that any screen protector or case you're using isn't interfering with them.

Sounds like liquid damage to me.

Talk to ur cable provider,check if those channels are in ur paying package.

im not sure if this it what your talking about but mines also goes off . it goes on black light that makes it look like its off . push the on bottom an the screen returns

You are correct, the battery is bad. When batteries begin to fail, they may appear to hold a full charge, but when put under a load they fail to maintain the proper power to fully power the radio. Generally you will notice screens going blank, poor or no transmit, etc. Simple solution, replace the battery. New batteries are available for around $30 (US dollars).

If a hard reset (press menu and center button together for 5 sec) and software restore doesn't cure it , you have a broken proximity sensor or a broken logic board. There is an iphone repair website that shows you how to do the replacement yourself and a third party iphone repair company that can do it for you.

try to open it and check for loose connection from your lcd to your cellphone board.

To change channel & code press talk and monitor while turning radio on. Radio will speak current channel. Release both talk and monitor. Press talk to change to next channel or press monitor to keep current channel. Press monitor when desired channel is selected, radio will speak current code. Press talk to change to next code or press monitor to keep current code. Press talk to change code as desired then press monitor when done. Will speak channel and code selected. Set all units in same manner to communicate.

I would verify what the firrmware is of the phone. It is possible that the phones need to be upgraded.

Have you gone under Preferences -> and disabling the auto keygaurd

there are 2 options

incoming calls received +

on a call

try disabling both these options and let me know what happens
