You can get coolant at a electronics part store if there is one in your area, does that tv have a g-bd on the left side looking from the back? that also might be your 7- blink problem
G-board is part of the power supply, small bd on left hand side looking from back about 8x10 not sure if your tv has it would have to look at schematic. let me know if you want me to get more info
yes the crt is sealed you would have to buy a new one about $200.00. i am surprized none leaked on the board there is quite a bit of fluid in those, if you are good at soldering you could repace those chips if you know which one they are. it is common for the convergance amps to go bad, they are locatted on the large heatsink the number on the chips start with stk-
well your flyback my be shorted or much more if the fluid leaked anywhere on that bd, you can send that d-bd in to pts electronics they do good work and at a good price. forget what i said about G-bd that is only 3-blinks
don't forget the crt with no fluid
you can try andrews electronics they have a web site but you need to know the part numbers you want, and that red wire should just push in and lock that is where high voltage goes to the crt's
have you done anything to it sofar?
you would order the crt the yoke and crt bd all separate

Usually answered in minutes!
sorry one more question I think its the D board so should I completely replace it or should i just try and repair the chips that are already on it?
Hey what is a g-bd ?
No i dont believe my tv has it I could take a picture and give it to you and you could tell me if you saw it?
But i do have a couple other things I really wanted to know,
Is there anything other then the g board or the D board that the seven blink code could be?
If I do have burnt out chips on the d board is it possible to fix it or do I have to buy a whole new board?
The person i got it from said it had two burnt out chips on the power board so how would he know which ones were burnt?
And lastly the top plastic part came of the right gun and doesnt have any fluid left thank god non spilled on the board BUT i was wondering what would be the best way to seal it back up ( cause i heard they were sealed at sony)????
I really want to get this fixed ASAP! thanks
Hey thank you I will look for them and yes i am really good at soldering.
I was also wondering if you had a diagram because I read on a tech site that it most likely is q8035 and 8036 but i can NOT find them on the board, do you know where they might be?
Also I looked at it again and yes i have the G board so what could be my problem?
Ok so I found the q8038 and the other one but how do i know which board to replace or repair?
also the circuits on the D board look good they dont look like they have failed or are burnt but that may mean nothing.
So if i replace the d board all together then that should fix the problem?
Ok so I know for sure the fluid did not leak anywhere on the board, So how would I go about locating the fried cirucits to replace them? or would it be better to just replace the whole d board? (cause i would much rather buy the circuits.)
And one more thing ( i know sorry) one of the red wires came out of the top thing with the four red wires I put it back in what else should i do with that?
Btw thanks for all the help.
Alright so the tv Blinks 11 times then shuts off what does that mean because I looked up the blink codes and they only go up to 10. please help!?
Yeah I replaced the D board, it went very smoothly, Have not gotten around to the crt but what happened was someone just took the cap off so undid three screws and put it back. (after refilling it with fluid).
I need help in ordering the part
