I have a motorola razr2 v8. One day the main menu icons were just gone. I can't find anyone to help. I was hoping that there was another way to reset the factory settings without having to go through the "settings" icon, because it is no longer there. Can you help?
If you have any access to the menus at all to restore all factory settings you can do so by following the Master Reset instructions from Motorola:
*BEFORE COMPLETING A RESET, BACKUP ANYTHING YOU HAVE STORED ON THE HANDSET, THIS INCLUDES CONTACTS*
1. Press START
2. Scroll to and select SYSTEM TOOLS
3. Scroll to and select either MASTER RESET or MASTER CLEAR
4. Press YES when alert appears
5. Enter security code (normally 000000)

No this is a GSM phone through T-Mobile.
Is this a CDMA phone? What is your provider? You may be able to flash new firmware to the phone using a USB cable. If you need to access stuff on your phone you can use a free program called BitPimhttp://www.bitpim.org/
