Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand you want to know what the freezer temperature should be set on for your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FGHB2844L. Per the manual, the suggested temperatures should be 37 degrees F for the refrigerator and 0 degrees F for the freezer. Hope this is helpful.

Need ice maker parts breakdown AEQ36756907

Hi.

The icemaker AEQ36756907 is sold as a single part. For this reason the manufacturer (LG) does not provide a diagram with the exploded view of the ice-maker assembly (here part). A diagram with the icemaker position in the whole fridge assembly is available in the service manual. Here an example with the same icemaker shown at page 49 in position 600A.

Regards.

We have a four month old Frigidaire Gallery FGHB2844L fridge. We love it other than the fact the ice maker quits working to frequently. Right now it is not making ice. There is some frost build up on...

Check Temp inside freezer. It has to be down to about 10 or 15 degrees
This can cause slow ice making if its too high even tho its freezing everything else at 25 degrees
See if water is in icemaker.
Pour water in Ice Maker and wait to see if it ejects.
If it ejects thenyou need to replace water valve in rear bottom of fridge(Its the part that
attaches to water line out of wall)
If it doesn't eject then it is a faulty Ice Maker.
If its leaking same part needs replaced. The water valve at the bottom rear of fridge
First I would check the fan in the freezer. Listen to see if it is running
It moves air to the ref from the freezer
Then check to see if freezer control is turned WARMER, which makes the Ref. colder
Also this might be a common Defrost problem, Ice
is not being melted by the defrost system. The fan can't blow through the coils into the fridge.
Take out back panel of freezer to check for ice buildup. The coils should be clean.
There are three components to a defrost system- a heater, heater thermostat, and a timer unless you have a defrost electronic card.
Its best handled by a Technician but you could possibly do it by taking your model number to the nearest appliance parts store and asking for the parts. They are mostly located in freezer ,behind back panel on freezer coils.except the card which is usually located in ref The parts store will have info
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

Replace water inlet valve for ice dispenser with new. When icemaker cycles it dispenses through the water dispenser instead of tube going to ice maker. I have switch lines around but can only get water...

The ice maker is what tells the water control valve to open so it may be correct now and the thermostat in ice maker may be defective. Part 27 or 627985 down below where it says Whirlpool Ice Maker Parts Breakdown and in that photo is the ice maker thermostat. If your ice maker has been used for many years the complete ice maker may be better to replace. Ice maker Model=> 4317943
Or click here=>Point and Click Then enter model or part number into search feature. If you have questions please ask, Thanks, Sea Breeze

No ice. Water dispenser works, no water to icemaker

the water valve is a dual one, one side brings water to the dispenser and the other side brings water to the icemaker. you may need a new one if the solenoid on the ice side is non functioning. see #800 in the attached breakdown. hope this helps.250

Ice maker not working ; water dispenser ok

The reason could be several different possibilities. the water control valve for the ice maker no longer works or one of the many components inside the ice maker is needing replace or adjusted. Error code 1F

ER IF means the icemaker fan is malfunctioning. Common cause is ice buildup in the fan shroud. LG has recently upgraded that shroud to drain off moisture that collects in there. The icemaker fan, when looking in the freezer, is the one on the left.

Very common for the icemaker itself to fail during the first year, have replaced many. They have since changed the design of it and it seems to have solved the problem.
