Water inlet valve broke and sprayed water all over but display still lit up. Unplugged machine and replaced valve. Machine emits long constant beep and display does not light up.
Try drying the board with a hair dryer but not so hot to destroy the electronics. Place an ample amount of distance between the board and the electronics. Set aside for an hour, then try the machine.

Check the dump valve if water is seeping through the dump valve then the water inlet valve will be adding water to sump all the time to replace water lost. Now if water is running over sump into ice bin then look at water inlet valve.
either the inlet water valve is bad and needs to be replaced or the controller for it is not cutting off the electricty to it, If you are going to replace something, replace the water inlet solenoid valve.
The broken bit of filter has probably got stuck under the rubber diaphragm in the inlet valve. You will have to strip the inlet valve and remove the piece. There should be 3 or 4 screws holding the valve together. Make a note of how it comes apart. There will be a spring, a metal plunger and the rubber diaphragm inside the valve.
Hello there and thank you for choosing fixya: This is a very common problem with these machines the problem is that the water inlet valve has a set of solenoids on it one for the hot and one for the cold these solenoids go out or get stuck open and will continuously let water into the machine So what you are going to have to do is to remove the power to the machine and remove the outer shell of the machine to get axcess to the water valves it is recommended to simply replace the water inlet valve in the long run this will be more cost effective ok if you have a appliance parts store in your town simply tell them what the make and model number of your machine is and tell them you need a water inlet valve and they will be able to get you one they are about 65 to 100 dollars ok? Hope this helps Best regards MIke
The error indicates that there is no water detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip not detected..If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
If there is no water in the unit: 1. Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way. 2. Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves
3. Verify inlet valve operation
If there is water in the unit: 1. Verify Drain pump operation 2. Pressure Switch Hose is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch
Verify there is not a siphon problem
Verify wire harness connections to:Inlet Valves, Pressure Switch, Drain Pump, Flow Meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine, the valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. OR If the control has turned the water valves on, and after 8 minutes, the flow sensor has detected 10.5 gallons of water passing through it, but has not detected the pressure switch trip, the valves will be turned off, and the error code will flash.
Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
Possible Causes / Procedure
• If there is no water in the unit: - Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way. - Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves. - Verify inlet valve operation.
• If there is water in the unit: - Verify drain pump operation. - Verify that the pressure switch hose is in good condition and properly connected to tub and pressure switch.
1. Verify there is not a siphon problem. 2. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 3. Verify wire harness connections to inlet valves, pressure switch, drain pump, flow meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU). 4. Check all hoses for possible leaks. 5. Plug in washer or reconnect power. 6. Verify pressure switch operation. 7. Verify flow meter operation by blowing air through the part and measuring the resistance. 8. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any cycle.
