Sony VGP-WKB5 VAIO Wireless Keyboard unable to connect

Sony VGP-WKB5 VAIO Wireless Keyboard cannot connect to the computer. When i press the connect button on the back (tgt with the one onthe back of the computer), there is a blinking ''Y'' signal for a while, then it fades. The batteries have been changed just in case. The keyboard can be switched on but just cannot connect. Also, i am not using the given wireless mouse, instead a cable attached to the USB port mouse. Please help. The main problem is connecting the keyboard. i have the same problem right now. Ive connected a usb mouse but using an on screen keyboard. Im trying to contact sony but its not working. If you have a solution, please tell me!

Vaio wireless MOUSE VGP-WMS1

Sony VAIO don't need special drivers. These have special receivers that ONLY work with intended models. The receiver is connected via USB inside the computer and it has a button that says "Connect" you have to press it simultaneously on the computer and the mouse or keyboard in order to pair it.

if you don't have the correct Sony VAIO computer you don't have that hardware that connects to the mouse and keyboard.
