Envizen tablet EVT10Q won't take a charge. The charging port is loose.

Hello Jennifer Sprigs,

In my decades of playing with "rechargeable" batteries...
(and a bunch of nerd-ling reading... have convinced me we don't know what we think we know (your is LITHIUM-ION)).

Including Lead Acid ... I have accomplished some strange things with persistence... (definition of insanity almost applies).

I'm not entirely convinced that your battery issue is not simply a weak or worn common connector... but I will tell you that
I have achieved some worthy successes in RECHARGING...

Simply by repeated process... applied battery...
Gotten the charge period to expand from a brief flash
(into a descent charging period (inactivity is problematic)).

to a second... to two seconds... to five... (so on & on).

If you have noticed any increase... I'd say to try it again & keep trying.

looked for it ... Envizen EVT10Q Lithium-ion 5400mAh

I have also caved in and bought NEW batteries
(I'm just saying... Check the cost and balance that against how much time you want to FIDDLE AROUND (if available)).

I charged my KX-TGA652, it keeps saying use rechargeable battery. Does not seem to hold charge

It does take rechargeable batteries. Remove the back and change batteries for Ni-cad or similar rechargeable batteries. Trying to recharge normal batteries is dangerous. Any rechargeable make of battery will normally work and they recharge when phone is in cradle

Nikon Coolpix 5700 was working fine, now it won't turn on. Batteries are fine, but camera just won't power up at all. No error message, nothing but a dead (black) screen. No idea why it won't come on--it's...

Two quick suggestions first is the battery chamber contacts clean make sure they are clean. Are you using a battery pack with rechargeable AA's ? if so check the battery orientation it only takes one out of place. If you are using the rechargeable battery I know you said the batteries were fine but make sure the power is up on the rechargeable. I've had it where I put a battery on charge knowing it was pretty well dead came back 5 minutes later and the light was green, took the battery of the charger unplugged the charger plugged the charger back in and put the battery back on the charge. It then completed its true cycle.

X box controller keeps turning itself off - I have put new batteries in

Connection problems might be caused by one or more of the following factors:
  • Weak batteries or a weak Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery Pack
  • Interference from another wireless device, such as a microwave oven, a cordless phone, or a wireless router
  • Metallic objects positioned between the console and the wireless controller, such as a chrome faceplate or metal dividers, shelves, or doors on an entertainment center cabinet

Note All licensed Xbox 360 console faceplates are tested for interference, and do not interfere with licensed wireless devices.
  • There are already four controllers connected to the console.
uparrow.gifBack to the top THINGS TO TRY Solution 1: Restart your console Turn your console off, wait a minute, and then... Solution 1: Restart your consoleTurn your console off, wait a minute, and then turn it on again.

If your controller is still not working, try the next solution. uparrow.gifBack to the top Solution 2: Replace the batteries or the Rechargeable Battery PackInsert fresh AA batteries, or attach a fully charged Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery Pack to your controller. If you have an Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery Pack
  • Remove the battery pack and reattach it to your controller, making sure that it is attached correctly.
  • Press and hold the Xbox Guide button. In the upper-left area of the Xbox Guide button, the battery meter indicates your current level of battery strength. You might need to recharge the battery pack, if the level is low.

    Collapse this imageExpand this imagecontlrftbtn.jpg

If you have an Xbox 360 Play & Charge kit
  • Make sure that the Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery Pack is correctly connected to your controller and plugged into one of your console's USB ports. If you check both of those things but are still having the problem, try the suggestion below.
  • Plug the charge cable into each USB port on your console, one by one. There are two USB ports on the front of the console and one on the back. If the controller works in one USB port but not another, try another accessory in the USB port that did not work with the controller. If the USB port does not work with any accessory, your Xbox 360 console might need to be repaired.
  • Turn off vibration feedback (rumbling) on the controller. If you play games with feedback while charging, it takes longer for the controller to charge and might drain the battery pack faster than it can recharge. Here's how to turn vibration off.
    1. Press the Xbox Guide button on the controller.
    2. Go to the Settings area, and then select Preferences.
    3. Select Vibration.
    4. Select Enable Vibration to clear the checkbox.
If your controller is still not working, try the next solution. uparrow.gifBack to the top Solution 3: Remove objects between the controller and the consoleThe controller works within 33 feet (10 meters) of your console. However, objects placed between the controller and the console might reduce this range. In addition, objects that use wireless technology (for example, a cordless phone) can interfere with your wireless controller. Remove or relocate objects or wireless devices that might interfere with the wireless controller or console. Here are some things that can cause problems:
  • Microwave ovens
  • Cordless phones
  • Wireless routers
  • Chrome faceplates
  • Metal dividers
  • Shelves
  • Doors on an entertainment center cabinet
Note All licensed Xbox 360 console faceplates are tested for interference, and do not interfere with licensed wireless devices.

If your controller is still not working, try the next solution. uparrow.gifBack to the top Solution 4: Disconnect all controllers and headsetsIf all four rings surrounding the power button on the console are green but the controller has four flashing green lights, four controllers might already be connected to the console. Disconnect all of the controllers, and then try to connect the controller with the problem.
  • To disconnect a wireless controller, press and hold the Xbox Guide button for three seconds, and then turn the controller off.
  • To disconnect a wireless headset, turn the headset off.
  • To disconnect a wired controller or headset, unplug its cable from the console.
To learn more about connecting your wireless controller, please read the following Knowledge Base article: 906947 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906947/ ) How to connect an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller to an Xbox 360 console or computer If your controller is still not working, try the next solution. uparrow.gifBack to the top Solution 5: Replace your controllerIf your controller still does not work correctly, it might need to be replaced. Battery Packs for Powerware 9355 UPS

The Batts can be charged externally, then refitted, usually I extend the DC cables so I can work with the batt outside the unit. This is ONLY to be done if you understand the risk and what may happen if you get it wrong.

Batts are always live and can cause fire/explosion/severe burns if shorted!
IF YOU ARE NOT SURE THEN GET SOME EXPERIENCED HELP!

OK so the UPS will not normally recognise a very low batt pack, that is the reason you can not start the test, this test will back of the rectifier so the batt pack takes the load for a short period.

If the batt pack is out of range then this will make the load go off, so the UPS is designed not to allow the test, unless the batt is at the right level.

If you can get the batt pack up close to normal then the unit will recharge it to full.,Wait until it is fully charged before testing.
If this is sucessful the cyle the batt a few times allowing it to reach around low batt warning before recharging. This will assist the batt in recovery. During this process if possible monitor with a test intrument(fluke 123 or 43B will do) the batt pack discharge curve , once the batt pack has dropped to its charge level from float, it should be a smooth decay.
depending on the state of the batts you may be ok, if there are weak ones in the string then you may have to replace all of them depending on the age of the batt pack.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE VERY CAREFUL WITH BATTERIES, THEY ARE VERY DANGEROUS, AND ALWAYS LIVE!

Check you manual for safety procedures, BEFORE working on Batteries.

hope this helps

Battery pack for Rolliflex 3003? How to replace/repair

First try a "Batteries Plus" type store - you'd be surprised what they have. If that doesn't work you may have to try getting some eager tech school students to build you a special circuit that will "step down" the voltage from a higher voltage battery and use a wired connection to the contacts. Also please provide a review of the camera - it seems like a great 35mm camera.

My Xbox 360 wireless controller battery pack broke!

Well as you probably know all there is to a rechargable battery pack from xbox is 2 generic batteries that connect to the plate that connects to your controller. I recently took mine apart to try and fix it because it was not working at all. If you still have the original battery case that takes the AA batteries i would go out and buy a rechargable battery base and charge the cheap *** batteries that xbox uses in their packs. Then use the batteries that came out of the pack and put them in the original harness. Or you could just use the ones you buy.
