Why is my Canon Pixma not printing red colour

1) Print the check pattern of the nozzle and you can get the picture about the ink flow of the Canon Pixma.

2) Power on the Canon printer and load an A4 size paper into the input tray. Drag the output tray and pull out the try extender further out.

3) Press the Setup button or tap on the setup icon and select the Maintenance option. Select Print nozzle check pattern in the Maintenance screen and then press OK.

4) If the above options are not available, you can perform the deep clean function from your printer. Press the Menu button found on your Canon printer.

5) Select the Maintenance option and then choose Deep Cleaning from the display an then press OK. Print a test page, the issue will be resolved by now.

Flash icon on screen is flashing and flash not working

Have you turned the flash on?

Normally you can set it to OFF, RED EYE REDUCTION or ON.

If this isn't doesn't resolve the issue, I'd suggest going to the Canon website and follow the Support and Download links to see if there's a firmware upgrade. Or check if there's a forum where someone else has had and resolved the same issue. Finally, follow the contact us links to see if their techs can help.

Hi - I have just managed to fix this issue of grey stripes across my screen on playback on my canon mv800 by going into the audio format settings in the menu and changing the format from 12 bit to 16 bit - good luck everyone else! Sharon

Battery display on canon ixus 75

Its same for everyone. You can only see the battery when its about to run out. IN that case a red flashing icon appears on the upper right corner of the screen otherwise there is no indicator for ixus 75.

Flashing red symbol like a bowl crossed out

it means you have no back up battery installed to save time/date info. I know on the GL2 if you open the LCD screen there is another small plastic tab you can open and insert a relatively small battery. Do it and the icon will disappear. Otherwise its no big deal. If you dont need time/date stamps on your tapes then there is no need to install the battery unless you are just annoyed.
