I deregistered all handsets from base unit. My base unit still shows all the 10 handsets are already registered with it. I want to reset the base inorder to reregister the handsets. What is the solution for this.
Thanks
Uniden TRU9485 (This didn’t work for me but this was the first instruction from Uniden Tech Support)
TO RESET THE BASE UNIT:
Unplug the base unit AC adapter.
Hold down for 15 seconds the DND, * and “menu” soft key (the middle silver soft key under the LCD) while plugging the base unit AC adapter back in.
All the settings should be reset.

ALTERNATE WAY TO RESET THE BASE UNIT:
Unplug the base unit AC adapter.
Hold down for 15 seconds the DELETE KEY (zero with a line through it) while plugging base unit AC adapter back in.
All the settings should be reset.

I had a TRU9485-2 base unit with a non-existent handset still registered that wouldn't clear out. Using the "Hold down DND, * and middle soft key while powering up base unit" method did the reset perfectly. Thanks!
