Question about HEWLETT-PACKARD Hewlett Packard Pavilion Slimline s5310f PC Desktop

Use manual screwdriver (not powered one). force edge of sharp knife under edge of screw head so as to 'lift' the screw up (out) and turn with screwdriver. The pressure exerted by the knife should lift the screw enough so the threads 'catch' allowing the screw to be removed. Once you get it out, throw the screw away.
If that doesn't work, then, assuming it is a phillips screw, it is easy to drill it out. Just use a drill that is smaller than the screw head, but larger than screw shaft. Be EXTRA CAREFUL to not get metal filings in the machine. I usually have a powerful shop vac right at the drill bit to suck away the metal filings.
