Hi. The problem can be caused by a firewall blocking the communication. Try to configure your firewall to allow all lexmark communications to go through. Also, check if scan software FineReader Sprint is still working fine. Otherwise, you have reinstall the software. Hope this helps.

If you can reduce your scan resolution (e.g. 150 DPI instead of 300 DPI) or color depth (scan in black and white instead of color) it will result in a smaller PDF.

sounds like your scan settings need a look..do you have the print manager installed?

if possible try a different wire or usb port
check if there is a usb conflict
