2005 passenger power sliding door problem

In order to shut the door (most times), I have to help the door close with an extra nudge on the handle. When I use the button in the car the door apprears to want to shut, but it looks like something is stopping it from moving. Seems to work fine when I help it manually. We're having the same problem with our 2005. The door catches and had to be nudged. Once nudged it closes fine. Help?

Check the track to make sure there isn't anything obstucting it. This might sound obvious, but you never know.

Rear passenger door will only open a few inches. Have to manually finish opening and closing.

I'd bet the motor burnt out. If you pull the handle and it opens a few inches, and makes a soun like the door is locked, you might have to get the motor replaced. You probably bought it defective. My 2005 Honda odessy has that same problem from wear and tear.

2005 Toyota Sienna LE Driver Side Power Sliding Door When the door is closed and latched, the motors makes noise, and the door moves the tiniest bit, but it doesn't open. The same happens in the fully...

Try this... it fixed my problem whereby the 2005 Toyota Sienna passenger sliding door would sometimes open and sometimes not, yet I could hear the motor trying to open/close it. It cost me 20 minutes and 10 drops of oil, not $1200.

First, get the door open. It took me two weeks of constant trying, but it finally opened.

Next, remove the plastic covering of the inside door handle this way: locate the two screws on the forward edge of the sliding door near the child-safety switch: (the switch is a small lever near the door latch, on the forward edge of the door) loosen and remove the two phillips screws, one above the child-safety latch, and one below.

Remove the plastic cover to expose the gears for the door open/close mechanism.

There's a bunch of intricate plastic and metal parts in there, all coated with white grease. I used some 3-n-1 oil to lubricate everything in there thoroughly, In my case, there was one part that was a little void of grease, hence it "stuck" occasionally.

Test the system. If it's Okay, replace the plastic cover, and re-install the screws.

Now my Toyota Sienna 2005 door never fails to open or close.

My passenger side sliding door is dead I tried all the fuses bu no result, the beeping noise has also stopped going off, please help if u have any tips on getting the door motor to make any reaction to the...

You might try rehoming the door. Erase the sliding door DTC's by removing the No. 7 fuse in the under-dash fuse box and reinstall it. Then turn off the Main switch for the doors and make sure the ignition switch is in LOCK (0). Fully close the sliding door manually. Turn the ignition to ON (II) and then turn on the Main switch. Test the door operation several times. note: If you have an 99-04 Odyssey let me know the procedure is different.

2004 Power Passenger Sliding Door - Buttons don't work,

You may have to have the ECM rerogrammed with whats called a flash update. Its basically a software fix for the door controller. nContact your local dealership to see if an update may be needed and available. This is a procedure that can only be done by a dealership.

The power sliding passenger door will not open even manually. At first it didn't want to close, but after I slammed it shut it didn't want to open. A few days later I was trying to get the door panel off...

I think you have a latch issue or a latch release issue, pull the door panel and try and release the door latch, pull the latch and try to see what if anything is wrong with it, also make sure the linkage going to the latch from the release handle is hooked up or not otherwise damaged.
