Question about Rival SCVC600-SS 6-Quart Slow Cooker

I need the instructions for my Rival Crockpot scvc600

I received a Rival Crockpot model#scvc600 from my mother in law when she bought a new one and I don't have a manual or instructions for it so I'm not quite sure how to use it yet! Please help!!!

    all you need to do is ring free phone number on your hot pot/. slow cooker and they send you a manual free. i have just done it yesssss.

Most companies supply a downloadable version of manuals. Try the Rival website by doing a Google search and locate your model. Usually a PDF type file that requires Adober Reader (free from Adobe) installed on your computer. Or they should be able to send you a paper version if you write them at the address from the website.

Need plastic handle on Rival Crockpot lid.
easy fix go down to your hardware store and buy a big wooden knob (like you would put on a cabnet to open it) it will even come with its own screw for .99 ! . you will have to snap off with a plyers and a screwdriver whats left of the old knob from the lid . but this fix works great and looks good too !

Need plastic handle on Rival Crockpot lid.
For what it's worth, when the handle on my mother-in-law's crockpot broke, I went to Home Depot and bought a cheap wooden drawer knob (about $1 as I recall). I put a plastic washer between the knob and the glass and another under the screw head from the bottom (to prevent cracking the lid), tightened the screw and good as new.
