How do i reset my calculator

Here is a manual for the unit maybe there is a way to reset the unit.

the best option would be to reset your calculator. there is a small panel on the back with a screw. open that up and take out the battery. press the on button to ensure you have drained the power. put the battery back in and it should be reset and working normally

Just use the y^x key, located just above the divide key. For example, to calculate 4 to the 9th, press

What is there to fix? The result is correct but it is too smal to be represented in floating point format with that may decimals , so the calculator displays the result in scientific format. If you do not like scientific format do not manipulate numbers that may be too small (less than 0.001) or too large.
Better still, invest a little time to understand scientific format and you may end up appreciating its powers in representing the very large and very small numbers.

If this is a ZF Meritor Trans and you have driven through Salt
remove the tailer cords from their plugs and clean out the corrosion

the corrosion causes the Tans ECU to go nuts.


if it is an Eaton unit it most likely needs a new XY shifter

Your solar cell battery may have malfunctioned or if your system experienced shock, i.e being dropped suddenly then that could also compromise is internal components. Check your batteries, if not You may need to replace the unit

Once you know how to raise a number to a power you know how to calculate any power. It is all done the same way: Use the caret ^ key.

Remove the six screws on the back cover. After the batteries are installed you need to reset the board. There is a little reset area that needs to be shorted to get the calculator back to normal. Look closely at the circuit board- You'll see a little circle next to the word reset. Its near the middle of the board. Wet your finger- press it on the circle. It should short. Blow it dry with your breath. It should work...
