SOURCE: Copies shows: Call Maintenance M2

Hello, the error code M2 means that the machine needs to have maintenance done ( like tune up to a car).. The only way to clear it would be to reset the counters and the service tech mode.

SOURCE: upon turning on the machine, machine display error

M4 is maintenance counter, you clear it in service mode.

SOURCE: minolta di 181 error M4

This means that the drum has reached it life count of 80,000 copies. If your copies are good and the machine is still making copies the you can just ignore the M4 as if you are in the USA then the factory settting allows you to continue making copies. If the M4 appeared and you can NOT make copies then you will need to get into the service mode to turn the disable copy feature off or reset the count for the drum unit. Just let me know what your situation is and if need be we can walk you thru the reset. I just don't recommend this action unless it is absolutely necessary.

Clearing display

The M1 in the display remind you that the M1 memory contains a number that is not equal to 0. So, to get rid of M1, M2, or M3, you shoild store the value 0 in them.
0 [STO] 1 stores 0 in M1, and thus erases its contents: M1 disappears
0 [STO] 2 stores 0 in M2, and thus erases its contents:M2 disappears
0 [STO] 3 stores 0 in M3, and thus erases its contents:M3 disappears.

Uniden Model EXP7900 How do I program button m1

One-Touch Dialing
Your phone is equipped with three .One-Touch Priority. keys for
instant dialing (m1, m2, and m3). You cannot store phone
numbers directly into m1, m2, andm3. They are only used
to dial phone numbers stored into memory locations 1, 2, and 3
on the keypad.
1. To instantly dial phone numbers stored in memory locations
1, 2, or 3, simply press m1, m2, or m3. (There is no need to
press talk, the phone will automatically dial.)
2. If no phone number was stored in memory locations 1, 2, or 3
on the keypad, pressing m1, m2, or m3 will do nothing.

I hope this helps.
