SOURCE: Nordic Track A2250 Pro stuck inclined

My Nordic Track Treadmill A2250 is stuck on the 12% incline position and it wont go back down and I have tried to reset it by turning it off, switching the reset button to off and then on or even unplugging it several times. What would be my next move?

SOURCE: The treadmill is stuck on

I can't solve this, but my Nordic Track T5 zi occasionally does the same thing. The previous two times, I waited until the unit "bottomed out", and then pulled the mag switch (key) off. I unplugged the unit, then plugged it back in, attached the key, and all was well. This worked twice before, but today (3/8/2011)the unit's incline is cycling again, and the old fix isn't working. Maybe it will need to go back to Sears! Unit was purchased in October of 2010. Frustrating.

SOURCE: How do I fix my Nordictrack Elite 7500? The incline is stuck and won't move up or down.

1) Lube the elevation motor, see the diagram, parts gear + shift
2) adjust the POT, for a little and see if there are better improve.
3) RUN the software calibration for diagnose, troubleshooting, fix it.

Calibrate incline on Tjojan tr500 treadmill

To calibrate the incline, press and hold the stop and speed increase buttons. While holding the buttons, insert the safety key. The machine will now be in calibration mode. Press the Stop button once. Then, press one of the incline buttons to begin the calibration. It is recommended that you do not stand on the machine while the calibration is taking place.

My TX400 treadmill is stuck on the incline.., it won’t decline

Hold down the "Stop" button and the "Speed" up button. Insert the safety key into the console then release the "Stop" and "Speed" buttons. Press the "Stop" button then press either the "Incline" up or down button. Wait while the treadmill raises then lowers the incline ramp.

Nordictrack c2150 treadmill. After moving incline calibration failed repeatedly. I unplugged and plug every connection and put on side to take weight off incline motor, still same. HELP!!!

Without insulting you, I assume that you have waited long enough for the incline calibration to complete (while standing on the treadmill, say one or two minutes). I also assume that you would agree that moving the machine has somehow caused it to malfunction. Check that the new location is reasonably level and that all four "feet" touch and rest on the floor. If nothing remedies, it may be time to call a technician.

Pro-form 415LT. The incline/decline is at its highest incline and won't go back down. I did the troubleshooting correctly and still won't go down. Is there something else I can do?

LUBE the rack and gear very well. Adjust the POT small attached, and try again. However you must see the diagram attached Tight any wires and connector very well and clean .Will be a good idea RUN again the software calibratin after you did the adjustment, clean and lube.God bless youf6d33b22-202a-4b16-8ded-0ff86a59d4cf.jpg50d1e909-5210-4c2b-b9b8-58ceb55bc2ed.jpg

Treadmill keeps inclining and declining . It won't stop!

I have a Proform ZT5 model - had the same incline/decline problem. It needed calibrated.
- unplug, turn off, and take the key out
- plug machine in
- turn switch on
- Pres and hold the STOP and SPEED UP button at the same time, while holding them insert the RED KEY
- let go of both buttons
- press STOP 1 time
- pres INCLINE UP 1 time
- this should reset it.

The tech on the phone mentioned the importance of turning the maching off, taking the key out, and unplugging after each use. Leaving it plugged in there is still an electrical current running and this can cause more seriouc problems that require a new control panel.

When starting my treadmill the incline just starts all by itself, all the way up, sounds like it would keep going if it could, then it declines, its stuck in this loop. the belt never starts and I cannot...

This sounds like the treadmill is running an incline calibration. It will run to fully inclined, then to minimum incline.
It should not do this every time you want to operate the machine, but they will do it automatically if the operation of the machine is stopped by the power being interrupted..
