Calibrating wont work.. i want to reset it.ive cleaned the screen n taken out the battery...help!!!!

• SO THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME ,WHAT I DID WAS GO TO SYSTEM SETTINGS AND FIND THE CALIBRATE APP IF YOU DON'T HAVE THAT GO TO THE APP STORE AND LOOK UP CALIBRATE APP . WILL HELP YOU FROM THERE

if random work. go to touch calibration -click right position done.ok.
if fully not work change PDA.

The problem is that the screen is weak and needs to be calibrated. You wont be able to access the calibration settings unless the phone is opened. Try to remove the battery and insert in back in, then the turn on the phone, try to go to the menu and select the settings of the phone, then you select calibrate screen, and follow the rest of the instruction from there on, that way the screen will be able to work well.

If you eventually do not have access to the phones menu, you will have to replace the sensor board of the phone.

Based on the information you've provided, it seems that the touch screen panel is not aligned. You can try Calibrating the touch screen to resolve the issue.
Calibration option is in the Main Settings 1 Menu of the Camera. Calibration option enables you to perform calibration when the touch panel buttons do not react at the appropriate points where you touch. You can use the paint pen, touch the X mark displayed on the screen. The X mark moves on the screen. Once the calibration option is finished successfully, the touch screen should work.
The Calibration option can be done only if the Menu is accessible.
You can also perform a power reset before performing the Calibration.

Performing a manual power reset

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.
This should resolve the issue.

OK..your touch screen was jammed or not working and you did reset via code *2767*3855# then the phone restarted with the calibration cross....you tapped the cross but nothing is happening.......what to do? first shutdown the phone remove the battery for 30 sec also remove the simcard put the battery again start the phone when the calibration screen pops up tap on the cross here you must feel the tapping is working by feeling a light vibration of the phone.....then tap on the lower bar of the screen which has color (light gray) different than the calibration screen the cross will move to another corner......repeat this for all four corners then you should see and OK on the bar to save and exit to the normal screen........done

i took off my screen cover and put it back on and touchscreen start back working

i am having the same problem any body help please
my lg Renoirs calibration is out of sync. i can't get to most of the icons. and i can't re-calibrate. ive taken the batter yand sim out but it is still the same. the screen responds but not wher i have touched it. help?

what is it doing ?

if the touch screen feature is not working, and you cant navigate to the calibrate screen, push the off switch but release right away, so it dont turn off, it will bring up the calibrate operation, its a default to access the calibrate when you cant navigate the screens.

Chances are, you have your calibration in such a way that your DS wants yout o try again to make sure that your calibrateing it right. Something set it way off probably so small adjustments to star *** back on the right calibration will do well. Hope I helped!

When you turn on the ds, go into settings (the center icon at the bottom), the press the yellow icon. I assume you got to that part.
Now you have to tap the calibration points; as you touch them, they should move to the next point (three altogether). Does that happen?
Next, you should be able to test it at four points. They will turn blue when you touch them. Does that happen?
If there is no response when you do this, your digitizer may be faulty.
The DS will reset to factory if you remove the battery. You need a small phillips screwdriver for that, on the bottom of the DS.
