probably has broken gears. Aurora does not produce replacement parts for any of their machines. Actually made by Royal and they don't make parts either so don't buy either brand.I guess Fellows is about the best brand or GBC.
If your saying that it will not start as in the motor will not turn then your LEDs on the entry may be either dirty or defective. If you can hear a humming noise then the motor is locked up and needs to be repaired. Usually just a few screws from under the lid will take it far enough apart to look inside. A common problem is the drive gear from the motor will break.
I clipped all the zip ties to free up the harness and physically inspected every connector till I found a connector that seemed rather loose and came off with minimal force. I then gathered the 3 wires and install a #18 wiring nut. the shredder is fully functional again.
This Shredder is an Aurora AS650C Rebranded for Walmart as Durabrand. You can call Aurora at 800-327-8508 8-5 PST and tell them that you need one of the plastic gears for the WM6X Durabrand, they know exactly what your talking about, and will offer you two gears. The one that is in contact with the drive motor is gear "A" and the Plastc reduction gear that drives the steel gears is gear "B" Hope this helps
Looking for small/large combo gear that drives the shredder roller gears
