There is no 1366x768 resolution item in setup menu for my monitor using.

Hi , your computer may only be configured for a generic display monitor which may not support your desired resolution . If so install the latest display's inf ( driver ) file and then after restarting access the display resolution applet and configure as per the recommended setting

Flashing green light

http://www.xerox-displays.com/drivers.html
This is the link to the xerox install info. This should fix the problem. If it does not please list the CPU OS and video card you have. Before connecting the LCD monitor make sure in your display properties are set to a refresh rate of 60 hertz. You can set refresh rate by going to the control panel in windows and display settings properties.

Installed new video card but the signal remains black

REMOVE THE CARD AND UNINSTALL THE VIDEO CARD IN ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS. THEN REMOVE VIDEO CARD AND INSTALL DRIVERS THEN INSTALL YOUR VIDEO CARD. I HAVE THIS SAME VIDEO CARD AND HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.THIS WAS THE ONLY WAY I COULD GET IT TO WORK. ALSO YOU NEED TO DISABLE THE VIDEO CARD THAT IS ON YOUR MOTHERBOARD. YOU CAN DO THIS IN CONTROL PANEL. ADMINASTRATIVE TOOLS THEN CLICK COMPUTER MANAGEMENT THEN CLICK DEVICE MANAGER GO TO YOUR DISPLAY DRIVERS AND DISABLE YOUR GRAPHICS CONTROLER. THAT SHOULD DO IT. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Updated bios problem on a780gm-a

I think you had a bad flash!

So re-download a new bios file from there web site and try again, with these instructions....

Updating the BIOS
You can download and install updated BIOS for this motherboard from the
manufacturer’s Web site. New BIOS provides support for new peripherals, improvements
in performance, or fixes for known bugs. Install new BIOS as follows:

1 If your motherboard has a BIOS protection jumper, change the setting to
allow BIOS flashing.

2 If your motherboard has an item called Firmware Write Protect in Advanced
BIOS features, disable it. (Firmware Write Protect prevents
BIOS from being overwritten.)

3 Create a bootable system disk. (Refer to Windows online help for
information on creating a bootable system disk.)

4 Download the Flash Utility and new BIOS file from the manufacturer’s
Web site. Copy these files to the system diskette you created in Step 3.

5 Turn off your computer and insert the system diskette in your computer’s
diskette drive. (You might need to run the Setup Utility and change the
boot priority items on the Advanced BIOS Features Setup page, to
force your computer to boot from the floppy diskette drive first.)

6 At the A:\ prompt, type the Flash Utility program name and the file name
of the new bios and then press <Enter>. Example: AMINF340.EXE
040706.ROM

7 When the installation is complete, remove the floppy diskette from the
diskette drive and restart your computer. If your motherboard has a
Flash BIOS jumper, reset the jumper to protect the newly installed BIOS
from being overwritten. The computer will restart automatically.

Hope This helps

Have a nice day!

Green Flash power only on one computer

It sounds like the monitor functions properly and your computer functions properly, but the combination causes a problem. Try making sure the screen resolution on your main computer is set to an acceptable resolution for your monitor - AL1916. Try setting it low to 800x600 and move up from there until it doesn't work anymore. You can change the screen resolution from the Display Settings (right click on the desktop and select Display Settings) window.
