My galaxy tablet will not turn on and or charge

I bought my tablet a month ago and had my first issue this morning. With less then 25% batter I hooked my tablet up to charge last night. When I woke in the morning I expected it to be fully charged. I pressed the button expecting the screen to pop up, but nothing. I proceeded to press the on/off button, but nothing. I attempted to use both the original charger and another charger with no luck. Both chargers work fine with my android phone, and I do realize that does not mean it will work with my tablet. I read online that you might be able to press the on/off button for 30 seconds, but that too has not worked.

Hold down the power on button and the volume up button at the same time for approx 10 seconds
Try it a couple of times and it may come back to life.

Hold the power button down for 10-15 seconds to force a power off. When turning back on, hold the power button down until you either feel it vibrate or something comes up on the screen.

SOURCE: I bought my Samsung Galaxy

It sounds to me like you have an issue with your Galaxy Tab's charging port.

Fortunately it is still under warranty if you've just recently purchased it.

Take it back to the store or contact Samsung for a warranty replacement. They may be able to help you recover items from the memory.

Hope this helped!

Thanks!

SOURCE: My galaxy tablet just went dark. No screen or power. It was more than 50% charged last I looked an hour before. It has been plugged in for 20 minutes now and it won't turn on. What happened??

it depends.. check the battery pack maybe this cause a over charge and check first if your galaxy tablet is still part of the warranty this will help you a lot.

SOURCE: My galaxy tablet was fine

You can damage the battery but it is very rare to actually do that. What you need to do is plug it in to the wall charger and leave it alone over night. At that point it should be just fine. it will actually start to show some signs of life after a few hours but don't be tempted to do anything wih it. it will first show a charge light or something after maybe 40 minutes if it is a faster charger.
If it shows no life the next day then you can try charging again but at this point you may hae a problem that requires either a battery replacement or warrenty. The battery has a microcontroller on it and when the battey gets real low they do not behave that well and typically you get the stone dead brick behaviour. And most people do not let it charge long enough to get it working. It is possible that there are other problems but those are usually moore serious and require replacement of the unit. The battery can be replaced but requires the etire case to be disassembled.
So charge it then check your warrenty and it may need serious repairs or to be replaced. If it is out of warrenty then you need to be careful on the cost verses replaceemn

Can't turn it on. It was working in the morning. Turn it on then it black out. Now want work. Can't turn on at all. One months old

First of all you can check the battery if its empty. You can remove it first then put it back in then turn it on. If if doesn't turn on try to charge it first. There should be an indication that it's charging if the battery is working .

Best Suggestion:
Because your device is a month old i'm sure that it's still under warranty. You need to bring it to the service Store where you purchase it and tell them the issue. You may ask for a replacement or they will fix it for you for free as a part of the warranty agreement

Note:
Don't try to open the entire device yourself because it may void your warranty better bring to them right away.

Hope this help you a bit. Feel free to do a comment if this work or if you have something to ask. I'll do my best to reply to your message right away. ^_^
