I cleaned the drum unit and cleaning blade on my SAVIN 8020d copier. After reinstalling everything i tried to print and it prints but nothing in on the page. Any suggestions?

Double print usually happens when Drum completed its life and Cleaning Blade unable to clean the drum surface properly, Replacing of Drum and Cleaning blade will gave you good copy quality, Don't forget to clean Charger unit

Service call is cheaper than you damaging the drum

are you printing from Doc feeder or glas?? if from feeder then try to make a copy from the glass, does it still do it? yes problem is with drum.
No? problem is with the small scanning glass to the left, look carefully see if any spots or lines on the 1inch glas --- clean it

Ghost images appear on the printed page because of bad cleaning blade or improper charging of the drum unit. Ghost images appear on the next printed page if cleaning blade does not clean the drum surface. Drum/ photoconductor is very sensitive to light, so special care should taken while pulling it out. Hi it could be an issue with the drum cleaning blade check to see if the drum is clean what you can do is do a few copies say 5 copies then check the drum to see if it is clean if it is not clean then replace the drum unit assemble or replace the drum blad
the other item to check is the fuser unit upper fuser roller is there any damage to the roller is the surface of the roller intact or are there several areas damaged if so replace roller

If you send a print job or print a report from the copier and there is no streaks then the problem is most likely the thin **** glass to the left of the large glass. It just needs to be claened.

If the streaks are happening when printing and copying then the problem is most likely your drum unit (MK-410) or possibly the fixing unit (FU-410), the fixing unit is the one that gets hot.

As the drum gets old it can cause print/copy issues and the cleaning blade that cleans the drum gets to the point it doesn't clean the drum properly causing streaks.

The heat roller has a teflon coating on it and as the roller gets older the teflon starts to come off and can effect prints/copies.

The drum unit should be replaced every 150,000 pages and the fixing unit every 300,000 pages on the KM-2050.

iR1600 are special machine that needs a little bit more care.

First, clean the laser unit and optics ( beneath copy glass too ). Then use some polisher and polish the developing cylinder and clean/replace developer cylinder blade.

Use GENUINE CANON DRUM UNIT and GENUINE TONER.
