Spilled water on tablet and now it won't charge

I spilled a little water on my tablet. After trying to dry it I turned it on and tried to charge it, but it won't charge. Is there something I can do to fix it or do I need to send it to a place to get it repaired?

What can i do if i spill water on the back of a digiland dl701q

If it appears that water got inside the tablet, you need to dry it off and then carefully pry off the back of the tablet. They will come off, but it must be done slowly and carefully. Blot up any visual moisture. Place a fan to blow over it and let it dry for a few hours in a warm area.

If you are not comfortable removing the back, take it to a phone/electronics repair location for assistance.

Replace the back and try to turn it on.

Good luck.

Won t turn on

Have you held the button in for ten seconds? Are you pushing it in correctly? Did you charge it? If the battery goes down it will not come on. Plug in the charger for awhile then try turning it on. If you spilled something on it you might have a problem. So many things we dont know. Try the charger first.

How do i fix a wet zeepad?

Before you take it anywhere why not try this idea. I had an iphone that was dropped in the bath tub full of water. I tried to dry it with a hair dryer but it did not work. My oldest daughter told me to put it in a plastic bag of dry white rice and seal it closed. Let it stay in the bag for a few days to give the rice time to absorb the water that is in the phone. I did this and left it for four days and removed it from the rice and the phone started working right away. Its worth a try.

Juice spilled on it and now after reboot it has a white screen. I thought the pantech element android tablet was waterproof...is it damaged?

it's only water proof when all the ports - usb - earphone are closed
"The Pantech Element is waterproof against incidental exposure to water when all ports (incl. USB and earphone ports) are tightly closed, but is NOT designed or intended for in water use. Waterproof based on IP57 rating. "
see if it's under warranty to return defective

I spilled water on kindle

Try putting it in a large ziplock bag or rubbermaid container with rice and leave it there for a few days to pull out the moisture.

No power

Any hope you may have left other than an expensive repair, is to remove the battery and leave the unit in an airing cupboard for a week and pray. Then replace the battery and try again. No change - then nothing lost. I know it's basic, and best done as soon as the damage was done, but has worked for me in similar circumstances. Don't be tempted to use a warm oven.
