Yes- it is in anti-theft mode. Whenever you lose power from the battery, the factory system needs to be unlocked. This would prevent theives from wanting your radio as they would not be able to use it in another vehicle without a unlocking code.
If you have the original owners manual from the car there are specific instructions as to the lock code for your unit. Hopefully, the dealer recorded them for you.
If not- you have to go to a Chrysler dealer and they can do it by the VIN code.

My mom has the same problem w battery w. chrysler 300m(2002) she allready replace w. new battey then chrysler service dept. told her the battery was fine n replace her starter now electric shop says it is...

Sounds like alternator if the battery is not staying charged or the output from alternator the big red wire is lost connection to battery +.
a voltmeter you can check with across battery and it should show minimum 13.8 volts minimum to be charging.
if the battery is low it should show 14.7 volts if it shows 12 volts or less with lights heater etc running then alternator is not charging.
You can get a cheap volt ohm meter from radio shack or walmart and use the DC setting 20 volt scale on meter and start the car and turn on everything and put the test leads of meter across battery terminals and see what the voltmeter says.

We have a 1999 chrysler 300m and long story short my husband hooked up a new battery wrong and started sparking, he did unhook the battery then hooked it back up the correct way and the car did start, but...

Hooking up the battery wrong probably shorted out the alternator so that it not charging. The car was running off the battery and discharged it causing the lights to turn off and the car to want to stall. You will need to have the electrical system checked for damage.

I just hook up an after market cd player up in my 2001 chrysler 300m and the radio play but the cd player want play, it turns on and everything just no sound. do anyone have any ideas of what i did wrong?

DOES THE RADIO PLAY? HERE ARE THE FACTORY WIRING COLORS FOR THE RADIO HARNESS, RECHECK YOUR WORK. IF U FIND NOTHING THEN IF THE RADIO PLAYS THE CD PLAYER IS DEFECTIVE, IT HAPPENS BELIEVE ME.

2000 Chrysler 300M CD player on strike

You will need to have the player repaired, but a new one! I really doubt, call your local dealer and ask for the number of the local company that is authorized to repair Chrysler /Dodge sound systems, do not go through the dealer, they will 2X the repair bill that the shop charges them, also you can check on the internet for automotive radio repair, call a few to get and idea of the cost, if they have exchange units inquire about this as well, fore warned is fore armed
