I turned on my Sansa e270 and the screen isn't working. My blue wheel lights up and stays that way but I can't turn it off or do anything. I tried to let it run out of battery and then turn it back on. Same thing happened. I tried charging it then turning it on. Same thing. I also held down the power button for a long period of time. Same thing. What do I do? I feel like I just wasted 50 dollars. I only had it for a month. Please help.

You may need to now reset the player, that may have been a bit much for it.
To reset your Sansa Mp3 player.
Slide and hold the Power switch up for approximately 20 seconds.
Release the Power switch.
To turn the player on, slide the Power switch up then release instantly.
If that does not get your player working again, try and Format to clear any corrupt files that may be present.

I would recommend you to go to the sandisk site to update the firmware on your device or you can contact sandisk to they can help you with updating the firmware on your device..I think the reason you are getting that screen is because you have formatted it under my computer...next time you want to format it use the windows media player instead.

i had the same problem. it seems like the sansa e200 series has had lots of flaws and defects which really sucks. what i did was let the power drain. let the power drain and when you see that the blue light is off try to recharge again. or if it freezes, let the power drain and let it recharge
