Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "d845gvfnSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the drivers.

select the operating system then
select DRIVERS in select download type.
then download the sound drivers. and install.

You can download the motherboard drivers from Intel WEB site. Select your model motherboard/device, and make sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers that matches your Windows operating system.

Put: D845GVFN in the "search downloads" box.

Select "desktop boards"
Choose the chipset
And the board (D845GVFN)
It will bring up the selection of operating systems
Choose yours and it should bring up the drivers.

i had the same problem with a couple of my motherboards before. Your best bet is to got to www.intel.com, go to the support section, and email support team with your problem. If the motherboard is still under the warranty, all you will have to pay is shipping cost to INTEL. that;s how i got mine fixed before. hope this helps
