How to program my sanyogxdb remote to w ok rk my pioneer elite vsx 33 rece v er

To program your Sanyo GXDB remote to work with your Pioneer Elite VSX 33 receiver, you can try the following steps:
  1. Turn on the Pioneer Elite VSX 33 receiver manually using the power button located on the receiver itself.
  2. Hold down the "Code Search" button on your Sanyo GXDB remote until the LED light on the remote stays lit or blinks.
  3. Press the "TV" or "DVD" button on the remote, depending on which device mode you want to program the receiver to.
  4. Enter the corresponding code for Pioneer receivers. You can find a list of Pioneer remote control codes in the instruction manual that came with your Sanyo GXDB remote or by searching online. Enter the code using the number buttons on the remote.
  5. Point the remote at the Pioneer receiver and press the "Power" button. If the receiver turns off, it means the remote has been successfully programmed. If not, repeat the process using a different code from the list until you find the one that works.
  6. Once the remote successfully turns off the receiver, press the "Code Search" button again to save the code. The LED light on the remote should turn off or stop blinking.
  7. Test the remote by pressing other buttons, such as volume up/down or channel up/down, to ensure it is functioning properly with your Pioneer Elite VSX 33 receiver.
If you're still having trouble programming the remote, consult the instruction manual that came with the Sanyo GXDB remote or contact Sanyo customer support for further assistance.

Receiver turned off after power on

I can see two possible problems.1: your receiver wants to take too much current and it shuts down the relais to the speakers, or,2: The hold contact of that relais cannot keep it's voltage and shuts off the speakers after a short time.
Check your end transistors for shorts and/or see what the voltage does at this relais. A faulty capacitor perhaps?

Pioneer Elite vsx-27tx receiver with no bass!?

There may be a subwoofer mute function on your amp. The sub out is nothing more than a preamp output with a low frequency response. It is meant to be amplified by an external amp. Either check your powered subwoofer for operation or look through your operators manual for a sub mute function.

Blinking Standby

regarding the Pioneer VSX-912 blinking standby light. This is how you reset it; press the "advanced surround" and the " enter" at the same time for about 3 seconds. Make sure you press the ENTER on the reciever (its the one on top next to the small dial) If you press the "ON" instead of "ENTER" it will not work. If an error message comes on and shuts the unit down, just reset it again. This should save you some $$$$. To bad Pioneer did't put this info in the manual.
