hi tecate.

This can be a few things, either bearing, transmission, drivebelt or motor.
Start with the drive belt. Take it off and see if the drum when rotated makes the same squeak as befor when you apply a little pressure to the drum.
If it does not do it it can be the tension in the belt. Or the belt is gone HERE are drawings and partslist. You can also obtain the parts here

What causes left front squeak?

There are a few areas that can squeak a bit after being cleaned and usually a can of WD40 will cure the problem. It's important not to lubricate the braking system, it shouldn't be squeaking as a result of turning the steering wheel. The top of the struts, strut mounts, the tie rod ends and ball joints can all be lightly sprayed to stop the noise. Spray a few things and check again, repeat until it's smooth and quiet.

Can a shock mounting make a squeak noise when going through a dip or turning the steering wheel. shocks already tested.

There are a lot of suspension points that can develop a squeak. Look at there: Front strut tower mounts, sway bar rubber mounts(if equipped). If you recently got new tires that may be a little larger than the originals, the tire may hit suspension parts when turning. They can rub against the inner fender well plastic parts as well. Best thing to do first is get a chassis lube. If that fails to resolve the problem, then look deeper into the problem by a good mechanic.

Front end rattle that goes away when brakes applied

the squeaking sounds like a wheel bearing going bad. And the pulling to one side is cause by unequal braking pressure caused by plugged rubber brake hose, bad calipers or wheel cylinders. Check the bearings by lifting the car with a jack, block the wheels, and use a jack stand for safety. now wiggle the tire around. If it has any play, the bearing is bad. Replace it. I would replace your brakes as well. Good luck

I have a 2003 GMC Envoy with 114000 miles and hear a squeaking sound mostly when turning. I think it may be a strut. The tire on that side is wearing out on the outside. It is in the front. I have had it...

i would suspect the front strut mounts, 100,000 or 10 years is about all you can expect if you drive like a little old lady. and one does not replace the mounts without replacing the struts as well. however making sure the thing is lubed, such as at ball joints and tie rod ends should not be ruled out before you replace the mounts and struts. those parts are expensive, are labor intensive and an alignment is in order afterwards. look around for some "quik struts" for your car before you pay for separate struts and mounts. the overall labor is lower and you get new coil springs to boot. you may want to shoot the entire load and do them all the way around. that way one alignment this year instead of another one next year when the rear end starts squeaking.

I have a squeaking noise sounds like coming from the driverside rear tire.I put new brakes & drums on it . Then a hub bearing after that i see the support bearing was wipe out i had that change &...

get some armor-all in a spray bottle. spray some on the bushings where the arms swing up and down, then spray some on the tops of the struts if there is a bellows where the spring can rub against the rubber.

Have a 05 sebring sedan. front end squeaks in the suspension when it gets warm. have replaced everything in the the last year. what else could it be.

Usually squeaks are rubber bushings that need liquid soap lubrication. The anti-roll bar bushings and end links are common sources. So is the lower arm bushings that work with the strut assembly. Suggest getting under the car while someone pushes down on the front end to get it squeaking. Good luck!

My 2003 Mazda 6 squeaks when i turn the wheel either way. I replaced the struts and it still does it

I guess I would talk to a mazda service department about common squeaking issues of the steering column, ball joints, tie rod ends, and strut mounts. The struts dampen up and down, and support the car, only the mounts could squeak by turning the wheel. If you replaced the struts, most likely you already did the strut mounts.
