HE5 frontload washer error f11

It sounds like a control unit has burned out. There is a computer that speaks to the motor to tell it what to do. If you reset it and a part is bad the computer will still recognize the problem and thus resend error message.

Seems that the fault is within the main control panel board. It can be due to failure of the drive relay or semiconductor within and might need a board level service or a replacement of the board.

The F11 code means there is an electrical with the Maytag Epic washer. This could involve wiring, fuses or a number of other issues.

Press the "Pause" button twice to stop the current cycle. Press the "Drain" button to remove any excess water. Try to run the washer again. If the F11 code repeats, shut the washer off and contact a service agent

The FH error code may be mistaken for the F11 code. The FH code signals a water supply issue and has nothing to do with electrical problems. Check the LCD screen to ensure you read the proper code

My f11 code is repaired! I got a clamp from Home Depot put it on the ccu unit on the right side tightened it shut and haven't got the stinking f11 code ever since. No more banging it again! I can finally do my wash without the horror beeping sound going off every time.

How long between times when you use it? Any leftover water in the washer will get stagnant and smell bad if it sits for a few days

I have the same problem I think. During the wash cycle, water sometimes starts spraying/leaking from the detergent dispenser drawer. This orignally only happened during a 'NORMAL' wash and when I ran a 'SPEED WASH' it was ok. Now all of a sudden it's doing it during the 'SPEED WASH' also. I though it might be the water pressure so I turned down the flow going to the washer but that doesn't seem to help. If I knew how the detergent system worked maybe it would be easier to solve this problem.

are the inlet valves leaking? to test this shut off the water supply, if the water stops then replace the washers water intlet valves..

I removed the hoses and pump and found the filter in the hose leading from the washer was clogged with a shoelace, $2.35 in loose change and a few GI Joe issued M4's. :-) Once I pulled that filter out and cleaned the **** the washer runs like a champ.

usually if this is a kenmore frontloader f11 is a communication error between the door lock and the ccu board. usually you'll hear a clicking sound before it fails. If so you need a central electric board. It is located directly under the top lid in the back. you can't miss it it's the only thing that has a lot of wires going to it.
