The sound sounds like chipmunks speaking and singing.

When there are people singing or speaking it sounds like chipmunks. When the keys on the keyboard are depressed, it sounds pingy.

Re-install your sound driver, and see if that solves your problem,,

Let me know if that worked,

You can remove your sound driver from the device manager , by right clicking on my computer, select Properties, and then under the harware tab you'll find device manager

The turntable is going too fast because the singing coming out sounds like the chipmunk's any trouble shooting tips??

You are likely playing a 33 rpm record while the turntable is set to 45 rpm. You need to find the speed control and adjust it to the media you are playing.

My life size santa sings but it sounds like a chipmunk when it does

The speed of the sound coming out of the chip is too fast. Perhaps it was designed in Europe where the frequency of their electrical network is 50 Hz It is 60 Hz here and may speed it up unless they designed a way to calibrate it. Chances are it was not thought out that well at the design stage.

Just got this and set it up. Sound is high pitched, sounds like alvin and the chipmunks are singing.

It sounds like it's running too fast! If it is a belt drive model you must have got it set up wrong.

Acer Aspire playing music & video too fast, chipmunk speed.

Go to your sound card settings under start settings control panel, select the real tek audio then in there there should be settings on how your sound comes out of your computer make sure that it is not set on some funky audio morphing setting. Someone must have played some pranks on you but yes its total fixable with a couple strokes of the mouse. ruldss2008

Acer notebook sounds

You may have to balance the equalizer in order to restore the proper sound. if there is a default sound option then you should go ahead with that. yo have to access this by going to options by the sound image on the bottom right hand sidde of the screen.
