Hi
You have to install the drivers for your Camera, before you can doanload, view or copy the stored pictures or videos in your PC. Here are steps in sequece to follow
1- Use the CD which came with your camera and install the drivers. If you do not have the CD, you may be able to download them from the website of your Camera manufacturer.
2- After installing the drivers, Connect your camera to your PC, select play and turn your camera on.
3- Follow the screen untill your PC finishes installing the drivers and say it is ready
4- Now click start, then computer. If the drivers are installed correctely, you would see an icon with all of part of DXG Technology DXG-506V. Double click on that icon. You would see one or more folders with your stored pictures and videos.
You can view, download, delete or copy any of the saved pictures or videos.

computer does not recog. my vdr-m50.computer sometimes crashes. switch on camera , connect to computer via USB, appears to be loading to hdd.says it is finished , but has only transfered one clip. I think I need a different camera that's more compatable . I can take Movies with A DIG. CAMERA and load into my Snaps and can then import to Movie Maker with ease. Why is this such a biggie for my Panasonic which is a dedicated Video unit ?.

Can not capture video from AG-DVX100A thru Firewire IEEE 1394a from ULEAD. When press capture i get window that says "Either no video capture driver is installed in the system or no device is connected" I'm using Ulead Video Studio 9
i tried loading my footage onto my laptop but it wont reconize my camera. do i need some type of driver or software?
My laptop does not recognize the hard drive of my sony HDD Handycam. I connect the USB line to the laptop and the standard bell tolls to notify me that new hardware is installed, however the drive does not show up on 'My Computer'. This is very strange considering that it should show as an external hard drive.

my comp has no firewire port and its brand new comp to.
Computer doesn't recgnize my camera being attached. I have fixed the problem before by rebooting the software. Now it is not working. I have tried connecting via usb rather than the firewire with no luck either. It's frustrating--what is wrong?
