My Ariston AVXL 105 washing worked well till yesterday. Now when I plug the machine into the wall socket, all the led lights glow red for a split second and then all goes dead and nothing happens. I've tried pressing the on/off button and still nothing happens. When I switch off the power at the wall socket and switch on for the second time again, nothing happens, no led glows. What could be the problem?

I had this issue also and it was because I started the machine and had not turned on the water to it. However, it cleared when I unplugged the power cord, waited about ten seconds, then plugged it back in. I guess they need a "reboot" once in awhile, like a computer - at least mine did. Hope this works for you, too.
It is
possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors
due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program
controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN
pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from
the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the
water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the
voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no
voltage from the controller. This means
the controller is a suspect.
If
the water flows though the inlet then the flow pressure should be good, if not
the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at
the inlet of the water line.
Before you change fuses, do you have an internal fuse board or RCD system in your home? Sometimes, an individual RCD can trip out, locking off sockets. Some sockets are individually set up for up and downstairs in a house, or different rooms. If you have a board or RCDs, check them out :)
