Lg crt tv stats and goes off more output from powersupplay str 6654 , optocoupler repaced but no result

Check all the related components to the STR. Any one or more resistors or zener diode can poise this problem. Replace all the suspected one at one time, before replacing the STR. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

When i turn tv on it gives me a picture for 1 second then goes blank, we still have sound

Hello

Sounds like you have lost video somewhere in the video circuits. Possibly the picture tube could have gone bad or lost filiament voltage.
You can check to see if you have high voltage by holding your bare arm close to the screen. The hairs will stand up if you have high voltage. Absence of high voltage will also cause a black screen, but the sound might not work either since on some sets the power for the sound is supplied from the same circuit as
the high voltage.

I have sound but no picture it is a mitsubishi tv projection tv vs-5042 I was told it may need to cleaned not sure how to clean it or if that needs to be done

Hello more than likely you have lost heater voltage to your CRT, also may of lost High Voltage, but usually when you lose HV the set will shut down. This model is notorious for open Heater voltage resistors.

Have a technician come out and confirm.

2000 Blazer S-10...Changed the sending unit, pump, relay, checked wires. Had power then reinstalled the tank-no power again. Even rechecked the whole system over and over...at a lost for ideas??!!??

It sounds like you have a wire with a short. When you have it down on the ground and connected it works but when you change the position of the wires you lose the connection. Use a thumb tack and penetrate the wire cover 2 to 3 feet back and see if you still have voltage, if you do repeat the process 12 inches back, if you still have voltage then 6 inches until you find the spot where you lose voltage. the break will be between the last point you had voltage and where you lost voltage. It's all a matter of isolation. Good Luck.

EXPEDITION WILL NOT START SOMETIMES, TURNS OVER FINE ITS LIKE THE SPARK HAS BEEN SHUT OFF

Dear Chuck Check the voltage to you coil. You should have 12 volts at the coil with key on. Check the same wire for 12 volts during crank. If voltage drops to 9-10 you will have "No Start". If this is what happens jump 12 volts to coil with key on. Don't worry about trying to find why the voltage was lost because the connector for that circut is lost in wiring hell. Good luck Moe

Battery No Charge and Error codes

These are for 4.9L

P016-generator voltage out of range--Voltage is below 10 volts or above 16 volts with engine at 500rpm.

P030-Idle speed control (ISC) out of range--Check ISC for operation

A047-very low A/C refrigerant condition warning--check refrigerant level

I039-speed sensing suspension (SSS) fault--this one requires a lot of testing. Could be anything from bad connection at a strut, to bad ground, to bad strut.

I041-battery voltage too low--at 800 rpm, voltage is less than 10.6 volts

I052-keep alive memory error--means IPC lost voltage, and reset. Normal if battery was disconnected, or lost voltage.

These codes are for 4.6L

I039-loss of road sensing suspension (RSS) data--might need to replace rss module

P016-generator voltage out of range--same as above.

If you need anything else, let me know.
