three green lights come on then the standby light goes red and remains on when the projector is plugged in. The lamp and fan do not come on when the power button is pressed instead the lamp light comes on red.
Hello, If all the fans are running and you are sure, than it sounds like you have a bad main control board. Double check that all the fans are running. If so you will need to replace the main controller, this is the board that the fans are plugged into. Thanks the Projector Guy
Hi I am Vortash sounds to me like a ballast or bulb fault this could be one of those silly faults you sometimes get .. the unit thinks the bulb has gone .. why because it goes out the processor is told this and the machine acts accordingly . Now I have had where the plug that is in the bulb housing is at fault the connectors expand under heat part and the bulb dies also had the same where the fittings on the end of the bulb wires are not secure and the same happens .. Also it could be a more serious Ballast failure or simply dry joints around the ballast unit ... without looking for myself I couldn't be sure but this is where I would start .. hope this is of help Regards Vortash
toshiba is not one of the most rliable makes im afraidi have seen this fault before and it turned out to be the bulb which i had recentley replaced and this was apparentley the wrong one and gave the same sort of results.
yes resetting the lamp hour might be the issue but not necessarily. It could also be a temperature issue as the fan (s) might have stopped or a temp sensor issue is faulty. check your manual for resetting lamp hours. Regards Kevin Andreassend www.iceav.co.nz [email protected]
