I use windows media player to put music on my ipod and it says that it is syncinh and when i plug in back in to the computer it shows all of the sons on it but they wont play...?

You need to have iTunes installed on your computer. It's a free download from Apple. Load your CD's into iTunes or buy songs from the Apple iTunes Music Store. Then You need to do a 'Restore'. Connect your iPod with the cable that came with it to the USB port on your computer. In iTunes, click and (Restore). This will rebuild all the software on the iPod and sync your songs from iTunes.
It works much better than WMP

Computer says songs are there iPod says there not

your ipod will not function properly with windows media player. it may play the music but it won;t get functionality from the ipod.
You have to use iTunes to get your ipod straightened out. Once you mount it on iTunes you will see the music and be able to add music and delete music.

No memory availability is appearing .it's showing 0kb memory

I using T sonic 840.
I found the reason for this.

I think you used transferred the songs/ videos from the computer, which had Windows operating system.

Windows has the high possibility to attack your T sonic by means of Viruses and worms.

So, first take a back up of your songs/videos/photos/text documents.
then format it.

Now download the songs/videos/photos/text documents. and before removing your device.
Scan for virus. If you find any virus fix that virus.

Now you cannot see the 0kb free space.

Cheers...!!!

Delstar ds 1036

Just to make sure...are you using supported file types? Do the files you are trying to use have DRM (digital rights management) on them that would prevent them from being used on other equipment? This means did you buy them online from a source like i-Tunes or Walmart. Try using a plain jane mp3. if you don't have one put a cd in your computer and rip it as mp3 files in window media player. Then try moving those files to the Delstar. Or try placing files it from another computer.
