Right click on deleted items this should delete the entire folder for you. If not open deleted items click on the very top message and then hit CTRL + A on your keyboard and hit the Delete key on your keyboard

this will also delete the items..

To delete a junk mail folder you simply right click on the folder and choose Delete.

Cannot delete mail folders, says see folder owner or administrator to change permission.folder is full. how do I change this?

download a small program called Unlocker, install and restart, then go to the folder and right click mouse, scroll down till you find unlocker and left click, then choose unlock and then you should be able to empty the folder, alternatively you can download a small program called take Ownership, download and install then the same right click and scroll down to find : take ownership
it is obvious your not running an administrator account, if you know the admin password log in under Administrator and then empty folder
cheers

Recovering deleted items in Outlook 2003 and 2007

If you accidently deleted items like Emails, contacts, calendar, tasks, etc from your mailbox using Outlook, you can recover them as they are first transferred to the Deleted Items folder of that mailbox. But even if you delete them from the Deleted Items folder you can still recover them. This feature is enabled by default in Outlook 2007 but if you are using 2003 then you'll have to modify System registry.
Enabling recovery of deleted items in Outlook 2003
1. Start Registry Editor(Regedt32.exe).
2. Locate and click the following key in the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftExchangeClientOptions
3. On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry value:
Value name: DumpsterAlwaysOn
Data type: DWORD
Value data: 1
4. Close the Registry Editor.
Now when you start Microsoft Outlook 2003 you'll be able to see a new option- Recover Deleted Items in the tools menu.
Recovering deleted items in Outlook 2007:
1. In the folder from where you deleted the item, or in the Deleted Items folder, click
2. Recover Deleted Items on the Tools menu.
Click an item and then click Recover Selected Items
NOTE: If an item doesn't appear in the Recover Deleted Items dialog box then you can't recover it.

My outlook 2007 has reached max size, I have deleted most archives, but nothing changes. This happened when I tried to download my hard drive

As archives are in a separate PST than your Mailbox (Inbox, Calendar, Sent Items, Deleted Items, Contacts etc), you may need to focus on this section to be reduced. Biggest culprit for used space is deleted Items. Empty this by right clicking and select Empty deleted items folder. Once empty, it is a good idea to archive messages in your Sent Items folder to another PST or Personal Folder. Once you have done these steps, right click your Mailbox Account (icon of House with a minus sign beside it - under All Mail items), and select Properties for "Your Mailbox Name" Click Advanced button, and click Compact now. This will compress your PST file, and remove any space once occupied by any moved or deleted messages. This process could take a while, and should not be interrupted.

Outlook express 6.0 outbox problems

This is a common problem with outlook express. The files have become too large for outlook express. I recommend blowing out all the emails. Try first empty the deleted items. If it will not delete. You need to find the folder associated with this identity. That would be in C drive then documents and settings then your username then application data (hidden folder) then identities. There will be a folder with a crazy name of numbers and letters. Go into this folder and you will see your inbox folder and outbox, sent box etc. Delete the folders that you dont have important emails in and this will dump that whole box. Make sure outlook express is closed when you do this. When you reopen outlook express it will recreate these folders empty. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
