2006 Buick Rendezvous cd and xm not working but radio works fine

depends on what fuse. the fuse on the back of the stereo or the fuse in the fuse box? if the one in the fuse box it should show you on the cover that you opened to get into the box. it should say stereo. now if your looking for the one on the back of the stereo you will have to take the stereo out and on the backside you will find a fuse or two. good luck

Tuner and select button fell off when unit was dropped. doesn't seem to snap back on. is there a secret to getting the buttons to pop back into place?

I just pushed the outside ring in until it 'snapped' and then the little XM button and it's stayed ever since. Did you break anything other than have the button pop out like it did on mine? Worst case, you use the remote control.

XM radio ''NOT READY'' message

I have had this problem at least a half-dozen times, and the simplest solution is to pull the 2 fuses labeled 'audio 1' and 'audio 2.' It resets the radio, but it will work for a while after that (until I have to do it again). Had the xm unit replaced 3 times, new antenna installed, replaced the antenna connection wire - it always dies within a month.

"not ready" message on XM radio

Remove the Audio Fuse and then put it back in and the problem is solved. So frustrating that I had to find this solution on another site as both the dealer and XM had no idea how to fix it. Dealer tried to tell me it was a bad radio and I'd have to get a replacement from Hyundai.

NOT READY error message

Try this:
On the fuse panel in the dash is a black jumer not described in the manual or panel cover. It's a quick power disconnect for radio and clock.
Pull it, wait for a brief time, replace it in the original orientation.

What size fuse does the XM 7676W Car Audio Amplifier take? mine blew and i got the amp from a friend so i dont know?

Do not use anything bigger than a 10amp fuse. Cheaper to replace a fuse than an amp. 10 amp is usually the standard.

XM Radio Fuse

sounds to me like you need to check the continuity to ground on the power line for the xm, you may have a power to ground short or a loose wire in the xm harness
