Vauxhall radio cdr 2005 displays panel ?

Long time since the question was asked, but if someone googles it.
I have a Vauxhall Vectra -04 with a cdr 2005 radio/cd player.
Suddenly when I started the engine the radio showed ”panel” I turned radio of and then pressed AS and turned radio on while pressing AS, now it said ”10 safe” but I couldn’t enter the code. So I disconnected the battery and then reconnected it again, then turned ignition on, the radio said ”10 safe - - - -” and I was able to enter my code, then pressed AS and heard a beep, now it’s working just fine again

I have not played my cd changer for a year and when I just try to play a cd now the system appears to look for cd but the word error comes up on the display. Just the word error not number. Any ideans...

Hi!

I dont't think that your cd-changer is broken. It may only need some cleaning. One year is time enough for dust to set on optical reader. I suggest to use a cleaning disk, available on every store selling optical media.

Hope it helped,

It appears CD ERROR every time i try to play a cd...it spins, but after 5-10 seconds it stops and the error is displayed.

If you've tried more than one cd that you KNOW works with other cd players, the sensor in the cd player could be dirty or damaged. If it's dirty, carefully clean it. If it's damaged, it will need to be professionally repaired (unless you're feeling very brave...).

My Memorex MX4118 no longer has sound when CDs are played. The display shows the CD tracks and progress while "playing" but no sound. Used a cd lalser lens cleaner but still no sound.

If it's clocking time on the disc predictably don't mess with the laser.

Is the CD indicator lit? See page 18.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE > '' / POWER ON button to select CD; the CD indicator will appear in
the display.

Error e-20. Doesn´t Work anything related to the Cd Players.

The system may need to reset. Unplugged the amp from the power source completely and let it rest for at least 5 minutes.

The illumination can only be controlled from the main remote. Adjust the prongs inside the remote and this should fix the issue.
