My opel vivaro van on 7 safe and I pressing the as button and on and wont give me the ----

You must leave the radio ON like this until the SAFE mode clears.

When it does, to get the code accepted, press AS and then a couple of seconds later the 'on' button, together until it beeps.
As you know you will then see 4 dashes. Each dash is a number from your code.
Use the numbers along the radio (1 is first number in code, 2,3 and 4 the other numbers and so on)

As an example, if your code was 4432

press button '1' 4 times (gives a 4)
button '2' 4 times (gives a 4)
button '3' 3 times (gives a 3)
button '4' 2 times (gives a 2).

When you see your code displayed correctly on the screen press AS until you hear a beep.

Trying to fit Parrot MKi9200 to 2008 vivaro but screen blank

check there is an ignition supply, newer vivaro's did not have an ignition supply at the radio and you will have to run a wire from the parrot to the fuse box at the end of the dashboard, this will be yellow wire. If you are in doubt contact a parrot engineer from parrot.com

Need code for my cd player in my vauxhall vivaro, cdr 2005. gm020543516920

Unfortunately the majority of SIEMENS/VDO codes
(including your CDR2005) will NOT be available for free (or cheap) from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database…which is not commercially available..

Try your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop (who are normally the cheapest option) who will connect it to a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

My battery died in my Vauxhall Vivaro van.. I have the Bulk standard radio/cd player in there. When the battery went we tried bump statring the van and (basicaly) I had lights goin on and off all over the...

This is a safty feature of most factory car radios, if the power is turned off it thinks its being stolen so you need to put in a code which is normally unique to that radio. Most of the time the maker of the car will put the pin number in the car manual, but if your like me i dont have it anymore and found it was cheaper (and easier) to fit a new stereo.
