Frankzjm has asked you to clarify your question to best assist with your Paper jams after printing and will not exit top output tray problem: follow your answer, is the jamed paper look like rumple somewhere? or nothing happened (like new paper). The paper is rumpled up like a horizontal fan caught above the toner and unable to come out of the non-functioning rollers of the output tray on top. If I then remove the toner I can reach in and pull the rumpled fan-like paper out.

You need do follow steps:
1) check fuser unit, the fuser hot roller is hot or not? if not the fuser heater fail.
2) check hot roller should spin with the pressure roller which is against hot roller, and check there is no gap between them, and also nothing pieces paper obstruct there, because if it losts pressure balance that jam should be occured there.
3) check the output roller after fuser unit(if there is), check them are spin or not, this roller kit use for pull the paper goes out the tray. if not spin means the roller drive belt or gear loosen.
3) check paper sensor that is micro swtch around pulling roller or output area and to clean it (could be a optical sensor).

Hello, I have a question about the HP 1312 all in one printer. Does it print on legal size paper and where do I load the legal size?

Yes, it can print on legal size paper. Do the following:
Lower the paper tray, and if necessary, slide the paper-width guide to the outermost position.
Fold out the paper-tray extender to catch paper as it exits the device.
Tip: For best results when loading legal-size paper, fold in the paper-tray extender before loading the paper to avoid a paper jam.

Our machine shows E051. so what can i do.

The JAM DUPLEX message appears if you remove a sheet of paper from the face down output tray after only one side has printed.
The paper sizes you can use with the duplex printing function are A4, Letter or Legal.

If the paper adjustment lever for duplex printing is not set correctly for the paper size, paper jams may occur and the printing will be out of position on the page.

Open the back output tray.
Use both hands to slowly pull the jammed paper out of the fuser unit.

Close the back output tray.
If the paper jam cannot be cleared, go to the next step.
Pull the duplex tray and paper tray out of the printer.
Pull the jammed paper out of the printer
Put the duplex tray and paper tray back in the printer.

Ricoh AP3800C "Output tray full"

Check the little black piece of plastic that senses the printed page exiting the machine. Our sensor was stuck and I was getting the same message (an similar Ricoh product). When I gently reset the black piece to center, moving freely, printing worked again. I think the sensor got jammed up when we were trying to remove a bad paper misfeed.

Ricoh manuals very confusing on this error message. They refer to standard tray, tray one, etc. without being clear whether it's a paper feed tray or the so-called "standard OUTPUT tray." The output is not really a tray, it's just the depression where your sheet lands after printing. I wrenched on the paper feed trays and their settings for an hour before I figured out they meant OUTPUT.

Printing

Dear jamin4volks;

As per this excerpt from the Oki B4350 User manual:

"FACE UP AND FACE DOWN PRINTING
For face down printing, make sure the rear paper exit tray is closed (the paper exits from the top of the printer). The paper exit bin on the top of the printer stacks printed pages face down, capacity 150 sheets of 20 lb. paper. Pages printed in reading order (page 1 first) will be sorted in reading order (last page on top, facing down).

For face up printing, make sure the face up rear paper exit tray is open and the paper guide is extended if required. In this condition, paper will exit via this path, regardless of driver settings. Paper is stacked in reverse order, capacity 50 sheets of 20 lb. paper.

Always use this tray and the manual feed tray for heavyweight stocks to reduce the possibility of paper jams."

Hope this helps;
