We have the identical problem and have owned ours about the same length of time. Ours lists 1250W instead of 1300. Do you have any idea how much this will cost to fix?

In most cases, this is a problem with the inverter or a bad transfotmer.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

I would recommend that you contact your nearest Panasonic-authorized servicer. You can find one here:

Hi my oven suddenly started making loud weird noises and now does not heat any food. I smell smoke. What might be wrong?

Seems to me that your magnetron is a goner, check also the antenna shield, cover inside the oven cavity and replace both, you may need to clean and repaint burn surfaces inside oven cavity.

Our s333 panasonic microwave stops working after 1 second?.. it just shuts off?? can you advise?

It probably requires a new magnetron or an invertor board or both. Take it to an authorised Panasonic repair agent for an estimate for repair.

Panasonic microwave S333 just stopped suddenly. I see on the internet that this has happened to others after about 2 yrs use. Any solution suggestion is appreciated.

Did it show an error code in the display?
If it showed H-98 or similar the magnetron has failed.
It is not a customer repairable item. Take it or have an Authorised Panasonic service centre look at it.

Panasonic NN-CT776SBPQ, just 2 y old, burning smell advise what could be the problem and how much it cost\r\n

check if the smell is coming from within the cabin. If so due to non usage of food covers some food particles ccould have got stuck while on heat to the sides of the cavity and results in heating and smoking. If so clean well with a dry clot and wipe out any moisture on the magnetron fitting slot.
However if the smell continues, check the capacitor to the magnetron or the magnetron or the main transformer itself.
You must open the cover and check for the origin of the smell.
estimate cost and decide.
Creddit if the advice helps.

It is actually NN-T695SF, it will not warm food. It powers up then goes dim, then powers up then goes dim, it keeps doing that. Food comes out cold.

Hi, if it is an inverter microwave and the problem is cycling every 2-3 seconds, my experience is the magnetron has most likely gone short circuit and the inverter board is shutting down to protect itself and then restarting, hence your symptom.
DO NOT try to test this unless you are experienced with extra high voltages - the voltages present/stored in a microwave even when powered off can kill you.

It shut itself off after 7 min. Microwave....

Sounds like an overheating, probably burnt fuse, maybe due to a bad fuse holder. or for that matter just a blown fuse for a variety of reasons. Will have to check fuse or see where it is losing power

Faint buzzing sound smoke coming from back

The high-voltage transformer (or inverter transformer) has probably failed.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

I would recommend that you contact your nearest Panasonic-authorized servicer.
