this is all i can find out at the moment.Check the electrical outlet for power and reset the house circuit breaker if the outlet is dead. Replace the outlet cord if it's worn or damaged. Unplug the sewing machine and check for loose wires. Replace the on/offswitch if it's defective.
The code "SD" means slow draining. Check the hoses on your unit. Are there any kinks? Check to see if there is an obstruction in the discharge hose. Also, try rebooting the electronics, by unplugging the power cord for 30 seconds and trying again. Does that help? Can you give us more symptoms?

Thanks . for posting
1) Is the new valve connected correctly- wires definitely in the right place?
2) If you still have the old valve put that back in to see if the symptoms are as they were. If the symptoms have changed another fault has developed ;-0(
3) If the symptoms are back to how they were originally i.e. 4E/no water there is a problem with the new valve OR possibly it is/was wired incorrectly (?)
4) If you cannot check with the old valve it means a service call ;-0(
If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!
i have the same problem and i rang samsung and they told me how to reprogram the machine. They told me to turn it off at the power point for 45 minutes, then plug it back in and turn the power on (not the machine) and leave it for 15 minutes, then turn the machine on and hopefully it will unlock within 5 minutes. I had no luck with this so am getting someone out today.. hope you have better luck!
Did you try another appliance in the wall outlet that the machine uses? That will isolate the problem to a power supply or the machine itself.
Often a faulty lid switch causes the symptoms you describe.
IF IT IS A MAYTAG TOP LOAD, IT MIGHT HAVE A 4AMP FUSE IN THE CONSOLE NEAR THE LID SWITCH.
SOME MANUFACTURERS DISCONNECT POWER TO THE ENTIRE MACHINE THROUGH THE LID SWITCH. IF THE LID SWITCH FAILS, IT WILL RESULT IN YOUR SYMPTOMS.
THE ELECTRIC CORD COULD HAVE A BREAK IN IT.
THE TIMER COULD HAVE FAILED. IF YOU PULL THE TIMER KNOB TO START, THERE ARE CONTACTS IN THE TIMER THAT ALSO DISCONNECT POWER TO THE ENTIRE MACHINE.
THOSE ARE THE MOST LIKELY CAUSE OF YOUR PROBLEM, THE CORD, FUSE, LID SWITCH, OR TIMER.
