SOURCE: please help with tv! green blinking light wont stop and tv wont turn on

Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.
please post your error code

SOURCE: Mitsubishi WS-65313 - Will not turn on

The most common failure are the two convergence integrated circuits part # 267P173010. The two pico fuses may be open as well, which come from the power supply and provide +24 volts and -24 volts.

SOURCE: mitsubishi DLP overheating

Mitsubishi has problems with the thermal sensor going bad. They extended the warranty for several sets. The sensor is right by the lamp. Call mitsubishi and insist they do something for you. If you keep playing your set, the bulb could also be at risk. I would think your set is covered being a 62" set. Good-luck and be sure to act ASAP.

SOURCE: I turn the tv. on , the green light comes on then

When you turn it on and it shuts off---ON THE FRONT OF THE SET PRESS AND HOLD BOTH THE MENU AND INPUT(DEVICE) BUTTONS TOGETHER FOR AT LEAST 5 SECONDS AND RELEASE BOTH BUTTONS.

Power light should blink a two digit error code---for example: 2 blinks, a pause and 2 blinks--This is the most common error code.

Let me know what error code you get and I will tell you what it means and if 2-2 what the problem is.

SOURCE: TV won't turn on.

Do the self check this set has:

when the power light goes off---on the front of the set press and hold both the MENU and INPUT (or Device) buttons for 5 seconds and then release both.

Power light will blink a two digit error code--most common is 2 blinks a pause and 2 blinks--it will repeat the code several times.

Let me know what the error code is and I will tell you what it means.

2,2 is most common and the most easy to fix.

Will Not Turn On

First you need to do a self test diagnosis and then if it comes up with:
SELF-DIAGNOSIS ERROR 23 OR 24. CHECK SOLDER CONNECTIONS AT CONNECTOR "DY" ON THE YOKES. 2. SHUTDOWN AT POWER WITH SELF-DIAGNOSIS ERROR 23 OR 24. CHECK C411 2200 UFD 35 V AND C412 10 UFD 50 V, BOTH LOCATED ON THE MAIN PCB
Do self test by pressing Input/Device and Menu at the same time for 5 sec. the set will show a 2 digit seq. first blinks followed by a short pause then the second.
