Would like advise on how to install a wireless mouse on a laptop

Wireless mice come with a USB dongle and a wireless mouse. Install batteries in the mouse and plug in the USB dongle into 1 of your USB ports on your laptop while in Windows. Windows will detect the mouse and automatically install the software needed to communicate with the mouse. If Windows doesn't install this device automatically, try installing the drivers included on the driver CD.

Delete the driver you have now and when you plug back the unit it it will install driver and look for a updated driver you really can just take it out of usb port and put it back in and it will do that

My Kensington 72216 mouse makes selections automatically.

Have you installed the drivers for your mouse? Sounds like you need to install the drivers. I looked on there site and they don't have separate drivers for each mouse. I'm guessing you need to download the mouse works program and install it. Here is the link to the website to get that software. After you install that software for the operating system your working on, your mouse should work fine. If i helped please leave me a rating. If i didn't help, comment and ill try again.

Wireless mouse/keyboard

The manufacturer no longer has the drivers on its web site nor could I find drivers on any of the archive sites I?m aware of. If you?re in love with this mouse I would try emailing Sakar (http://www.sakar.com/about.aspx) to see if they will send you the drivers for your operating system. If that doesn?t work you could try just letting Windows try to find/install the best driver it has. If that doesn?t work it just might be time for an upgrade.
