What built in oven replaces a Frigidaire Model FEB24S2ASB

I know this isn't directly answering your question, however, what "burned up" about it?
You can get just about every part that fits that oven from Sears PartsDirect. Control boards, bake elements, convection fans, switches, replacement glass... just about everything.

Unless the oven literally burned through the side/top walls, you're most likely going to save money by fixing whatever's wrong with it.

Even the clock/timer control board is only $164 for the OEM part.

How do you change over from natural gas to propaine

if you go down to your local gas appliance store - they will have a installation kit for this. it does not cost very much and is pretty simple to install -- just follow the instructions that come with the kit.
to save some time -- call the gas appliance store before you go down there to make sure they have one in stock,, they might have to order the kit ( depending on where in the world you live (?) ).
if you do not have any luck finding one,, try and call a appliance repair shop and see if they have one that you can buy. if they don't - then you can order them on-line from a gas appliance supplier..

The outside glass casing of the oven door randomly exploded into tiny pieces. Can I get a replacement casing.

The availability of parts depends on how old your oven is. Contact your local "appliance parts" store or there are some excellent online appliance parts stores that have great illustrated parts manuals. You'll need the make and model number of your range. If you can't find the model number, many sites like RepairClinic.com have an obvious link as to where to look for the model number after you put in the brand name and the type of appliance.
If you have problems locating parts, please repost with the make and model number and I'll see what I can find online and get back to you.
Good luck,
/denis

The door handle is broken where it screws to the oven door. The threads are stripped. How can the problem be fixed?

there are a number of ways...first, if you have enough room, you can try to drill and rethread the next screw size....if you dont have the room, then there is a kit called a helithread...it consists of different drill sizes and little inserts that allow you to repair the threads that have stripped out...these kits are available at auto parts stores....if you wish to drill and re-tap the threads, then your local hardware store should be able to help you with the drill and tap sizes for the next screw size

Convert to lp gas

Hello,
You will need the owner's manual to follow their LP conversion instructions. You will need the make, model and serial # in order to buy the LP conversion kit (if needed) from a local appliance parts store or from the store where you bought the appliance. Typically, you will be either adjusting (turning down) or exchanging the main burner orifice(s), as well as adjusting the air shutter on the burner venturi tube, as needed for a bluer flame. The appliance regulator will need to be converted, which is usually done by flipping the cap. If you don't have your owner's manual, leave another comment for me with the model # and I'll see if I can find it online for you. I have not worked on this particular type of oven in my neck of the woods, but ovens are all pretty similar in design. Some also have a thermostat that needs to be converted by turning the Nat to LP selector behind the temp dial. Hope that helps. Douglas

Power surge fried Frigidare FEB24S2ASB

The electronic oven control has gone bad. The repair is a lot less expensive than the replacement of the whole stove. Part number is 903091-9051 at about 165.00 retail. You can fix rather than replace whole stove. Hope this helps.

Can you covert convection ovens from propane

Determine the make and model of your dryer. You want to make sure you get the correct conversion kit for your dryer. Get one that is specifically for your dryer, not a universal kit.
Buy a conversion kit for your dryer. You will probably find one at a local hardware storemag-glass_10x10.gif .You can also find them online. It is probably advantageous to buy it locally because the dealer has experience installing these and can be a great asset. The kit will probably come in an envelope and will be marked something to the effect of “Conversion Kit Nat. Gas to L.P. Gas for XXXX series dryers”.

1)Shut off the gas supply to the dryer and make sure the power cord is unplugged.
2)Access the gas controls assembly in the dryer. This will be different for different brands of dryers. The instructions with the conversion kit should tell you exactly how to do this for your dryer.
3)Turn on the gas supply and check for leaks using a liquid soap solution and / or a leak tester.
4)Activate the dryer gas valve. Check to make sure the manifold pressure is correct and if not, adjust the regulator setting. Again, check for leaks.
5)Adjust the main burner flame as directed in the instructions with your gas conversion kit.

My Frigidiare oven FEB24S2ASB won't turn broil on...either the button on the console is out or the element is out...don't know how to determine it.

The heating element must be checked for continuity, using a multimeter set on impedance (ohms) reading at the two element contacts.

In a similar way you check that the wiring are ok.

To test the board you start with an eye observation to find out if thee are burnt spots or components that had blown, if you do not find anything , you need again a multimeter to test the board.

You find schematics and parts by entering model number here.
