A defective switch may interfere with your dishwasher's filling ability. Yourdishwasher may not be filling with water simply because the water valve's filter screens are dirty and debris-filled. Gain access to your water inlet valve and try cleaning it out. This might be enough to solve the problem.
There should be a float or electronic water level sensor that will tell the water to shut off, if it has calcium from the water on it or the float is damaged it will keep sending water until manually shut off(pull the plug). I would look for a water level sensor of some sort and clean or replace it. If that doesn't work it could be a sticking water fill solonoid which you should then replace
check clear tube that is inside machine.1st take off shell of machine look for clear tube about 1/4 inch diameter.it sometimes comes off,it pushes over nipple to load size water fill knob.if it came off the water will keep on flowing and over flow.if that's the problem just put a dab of silicon on nipple and push tube back on.
On the outside of washing machine tubs there is a rubber hose that goes from the tub to the level sensing unit in the control hood. I have seen these fall off. If it hasnt make sure that it is clear of debris and water. If all is ok here is a link that tells you how to check your level switch, http://www.acmehowto.com/howto/appliance/washer/check/waterlevel.php
Good Luck
FE error means that the water is filling past it's set point. You may have a broken water valve that won't shut off when it's in the filling mode. You can check by running the washer and watching the water fill. If the water level fills above the bottom of the glass, you have a water valve that's not shutting off. Replace the water valve.
Open the control panel. Remove the plastic hose from the water level switch. Blow through the hose to remove any blockage from the air bell at the tub. Reattach the hose and set the machine for a SPIN cycle and run the machine. Then re-fill with water. Double check the hose for any kinks or pin holes. If this does not correct the problem, the water level switch will need replacing.
Pressure sensing tube obstructed. Remove water from machine. Find the tubing and remove it from the water level switch so yall can blow it out. Reconnect the tubing and party on!
It sounds like the fill valve is not operating correctly. Remove the fill valve which it the tall item inside the tank where the water runs through and replace it with a universal replacement part from your local hard ware store. Take the valve to the store so that you can get the proper replacement piece.
the fill valve shut off level setting is too high. water in the tank is overflowing in the overflow tube. adjust fill valve to shut off at lower tank level
